Modern Finance Company ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing, harassment and bureau reporting Sherman Oaks California
Modern Finance has been charging for auto insurance for 11 months. I have repeatedly faxed the company my proof of policy and they continue to ignore it. They have even contacted the insurance company and received verbal confirmation and they still do not honor it. I have refused to pay the disputed amount for 3 months now and they have reported me as 30, 60 and 90 days late for the charges they are illegally attaching to my account. I have contacted an attorney who tells me that faxing multiple disputes, multiple copies of proof of insurance, and spending hours on the phone with insurance companies and Modern Finance means I have done much more than what should be required of a debtor to show burden of proof. The attorney believes we can win a class action lawsuit against Modern Finance and I will be retaining the attorney next week. Please note, the people I have spoken with at Modern Finance have all repeatedly lied to me. They have all been grossly negligent and they have all been very rude. They have tried to bully me and tell me I needed to do things and that I am responsible for providing more proof even after verbal and documented confirmation of proof from insurance companies. My attorney told me they were lying about that too. The truth is they are grossly negligent and will have to pay for it.
