Letter to my bank to reverse charges: This company is fighting me and I may not recoup my money! I hope this post will help other non-suspecting victims!
On May 23, 2008, I spoke with Arman at Money Tree. He promised my 8 fresh and workable real estate leads per month for $200 and further stated that each subsequent month would not be charged, until we reviewed the account each month. He promised to deliver the leads that day, upon my completion of the charge authorization. He was positive that I would receive the leads that Friday, before the Memorial Day weekend, so I could work on the leads over the weekend.
After signing the charge authorization, I waited several hours and got no leads. I called back and Arman would not answer his phone. His manager called me back, Angelo. He also promised I would get the leads that day. After a couple more hours, I was still waiting. I called Angelo back again and left a message that I wanted my order cancelled, if I did not receive the leads that day. I received no response.
Five days later on May 28, 2008, I received my first lead. It was a Mr. Joseph B..... of Katy, Texas. Please find his detailed information attached. I researched Mr. B..... and found that his Property in Katy had been listed and sold several months earlier. I called Mr. B....., who had actually applied online for a loan with Money Tree 6 months ago! Since then, he had sold his home and purchased another Property and was no longer in the market for a home, a loan, or a Realtor and had not been for several months. I will attach public and MLS records, proving that Mr. B..... was and unworkable and out of date lead, for which Money Tree was charging as current and therefore a misrepresentation.
On May 28, 2008, I again left a message for both Arman and Angelo, stating their misrepresentations of their product, demanding a refund. They never responded, so I contacted (bank name) to have the charges reversed.
Since then, I have conducted Google searches on this company to find out if anyone else had been a victim of this company only to find out that this company has a history of scamming and ripoffs. Other people are reporting the same exact experience as me, complete with the same names of the sales reps. I will attach a couple of these posts that I have found, as well as the website for you to verify.
Please reverse this charge and help fight this deceptive merchant and their fraudulent activites.
Runnnnnnnnnnnn, don't walk away from these rip-off artists!!!!!

THEY ARE LOCATED IN CANOGA PARK ON REMMET ST. IN CA THEY SELL LEADS FROM PHON BOOKS THE DO NOT HAVE A DRE LISCENSE SO THE CANT DO LOANS THEY ARE NOT BROKERS THEY SALE PEOPLES INFO FROM BORROWERS WHO HAVE APPLIED YEARS AND YEARS AGO AND THEY DONT KNOW THEIR INFO IS BEING SOLD! PLEASE CONTACT FBI, DRE, DA, EDD LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE RUNNING 5 OR MORE ILLEGAL BUISNESSES OUT OF THEIR DEFRAUDIN HARD WORKING INDIVIDUALS AS YOUR SELF! KARMA IS A "B" SHUT THEM DOWN AND GET PAIN AND SUFFERING DAMAGES FROM THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE PUTTING YOU THROUGH AND WATCH ON THE NEWS HOW FAST THEY'LL BE PUT AWAY WHERE THEY BELONG.
