High pressure/hard selling used to prey on people who just purchased used cars where the warranty is expired.  Once sold, they never answer their phones or let you cancel when you realize you've been scammed.  Cancelled cc, reported to BBB, Attorney General of MO., and posted Rip Off report.  "Back-Room" operation!!!

Due to your deceptive practice of sending out official looking cards that lead people to believe you represent the vehicle manufacturer is how you get those incoming calls.  The complaints I've seen show that your so-called customer service number just gives people the run-around.  They get a busy signal, or no answer.

Motor Vehicle Services has been mailing me solicitations for years now, and I have been calling them to demand that they remove my information and stop sending me solicitations for almost as long.  Their employees were prank calling my cell phone after I called them, and displayed their ignorance during the course of conversation.

I discussed a line in their solicitation that states "This letter is to inform you that your factory warranty has expired or is about to expire."  This is a misleading statement and is present on all of their mailings.  My warranty does not expire for years, and is nowhere near the mileage for it to expire.  This company is a fraud.  I am saddened by the idea of the people, elderly and other that trust this company with their money, for the company to refuse services when needed.  There are countless complaints of this company refusing to pay when the warranty should be paying out.  This company needs to be shut down.  They are a group of uneducated misfits who have no other outlet than to defraud people of their hard earned money.

Their way of doing business is deceptive at best.  They use deceptive tactics to make people think they represent the manufacturer.  If you purchase one of these high dollar "warranties" you will more than likely never have a breakdown or mechanical issue paid for.

If you want to purchase this type of warranty, you should first go to your home state's insurance commissioner's web site and see if they are registered or licensed to do business in your state.  Check the Better Business Bureau and your state's Attorney General's office for complaints or legal actions against them.

They will try to hard sell you and tell you that if you don't sign up right away, they can't offer you the discounted price, or that it won't be available to you at all if you don't sign up then.  IF they are a reputeable company, they shouldn't have a problem if you tell them you want to research them first.

Use Rip off Report, Google, Pissed Consumer and any other searches you can think of before signing up for one of these.  You then need to think about the current condition of your vehicle, and what the chances are you'll ever need a warranty of this type. Do your homework!

Selling a warranty to someone who owns a vehicle no longer under warranty?  Oh the humanity.

Some truths about the company.  It's an inbound call center, meaning anyone who signs up for coverage called in themselves with their own genuine interest in the product, because, like you said they realize they need coverage on their vehicle.

When a new customer purchases a policy, they are provided with the phone number for the customer service line, where you can make any changes necessary to your existing policy including canceling the coverage and requesting any applicable refund, if you so desire.

You know the address of the company and all the other information, but you couldn't figure out the customer service phone number?  Seems fishy, seems like someone with a personal vendetta against the company...possible an ex-employee?
