Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I recieved a "final notice" about one month after purchasing my car.  I called right away and they claimed they were part of GM.  The salesperson lied to me and when I tried to cancel they kept hanging up on me.  I finally got through to a so called manager, Len, and he told me they would cancel the policy but I would not recieve any type of refund even though it was within my 30 day review period.  This company is a complete scam and they prey on little old ladies like me!

I have in the past couple weeks received mail at my home and the address matches mine however my name is not "Dookie Head". Actually today I returned the second letter to the mail man who he says is junk mail. I also called the US Post Office and they are typically idiots and do not know what they are doing. Anyway there is no return address however a phone number which is 1 800 810 3981. It is clearly devoid, intentionally of identifiers. I played the game and said I wanted to pay for their services on a Cadillac. I do not own a Cadillac. I said that I was old school and wanted to mail in my payment. The person who I spoke with went on a rampage of how they want a Credit Card or Debit payment via phone and that mailing a payment would be unsafe and on and on. I said well I am sorry but that is how I do business and If I could not pay in that manner I would look for another conpany. Very reluctantly I was given an address of 42132 N. St Peters Parkway, St Peters Missourri, 63376. I asked if I should put a heading or what company? I was told "Vehicle Solutions".

I did not tell them I was retired Law Enforcement.

Very clearly this company is throwing out a wide net and just seeing if they can catch some fools, suckers or nieve people to prey on. I hope an IG or other authority investigates and they get what they deserve.

Motor Vehicle Services has been mailing me solicitations for years now, and I have been calling them to demand that they remove my information and stop sending me solicitations for almost as long.  Their employees were prank calling my cell phone after I called them, and displayed their ignorance during the course of conversation.
I discussed a line in their solicitation that states "This letter is to inform you that your factory warranty has expired or is about to expire."  This is a misleading statement and is present on all of their mailings.  My warranty does not expire for years, and is nowhere near the mileage for it to expire.  This company is a fraud.  I am saddened by the idea of the people, elderly and other that trust this company with their money, for the company to refuse services when needed.  There are countless complaints of this company refusing to pay when the warranty should be paying out.  This company needs to be shut down.  They are a group of uneducated misfits who have no other outlet than to defraud people of their hard earned money.

I just wanted to add, that i worked for an addional coverage company, some of the sales pratices are missleading, although like #2's rebutal, you  have 30 days to review the coverage with a full refund, and that is told to every customer. It gives you a chance to read the stipulations, and covered components to make a full valid decision. Regardles of how the advertisment is intailing that your MANUFACTORS WAR is about to expire or is already expired, it means what that says, and you should understand it when you read it. These plans that these addtional coverage companys sell are typically selling all A+ rated administrators that will pay your claims. Ive been is sales for the industry, cusotmer service and handled cancelations and claims. The coverage will work and it does pay out. Regardless how you feel about it i know for a fact that it works, if you dont want the coverage dont buy the dang thing. Its a business and warrantys are for a piece of mind. All You have to do is follow the stipulations and your good, if your stuff breaks down and youve followed every rule which is just normally is to following your regular manufactors maintenance guide... than your good, and you dont have to worry about dittley Squat.

i am sorry but i agree with this lady, i had the same thing happen to myself. After 3 months of paying i find out that my warranty has not even expired. This is upsetting in the fact that all over the letter says and quote "expiration notice", again it says " Notification that your manufacturers warranty is expiring or has currently expired! Call 1-866-238-6239 and speak with motor vehicle services to continue warranty." Yet in  the middle of the paper(IN FINE PRINT) it says that offer expires. Can you tell me your any better than the people would steal private information and call saying i am a bill collector pay $500 dollars now. Yea right that's Motor vehicle finance for scamming or ripping off a nation oh sorry i mean people.

After reading your complaint against Motor Vehicle Solutions it is quite apparent that you most likely did not in fact purchase coverage from the stated company for many reasons. First and foremost, the company does not mis-represent itself as being part of GM, that is unethical and unlawful, besides that fact that it is not smart considering that the car companies are all on such shaky ground that it would not make sense to claim false association with them. Secondly, the customer service department is top-notch and would not hang up on a customer, even when they do want to cancel their program. Doing so would create bad business, besides the fact that the customer service representative would be terminated immediately for such actions. Third, your reference to Len is severely off the mark seeing as how there is not one person in management named Len, and the only Len there is not, nor has worked in a capacity to interact with customers on the phones since prior to the beginning of the year 2009. If you feel that you were "scammed" then I do apologize, but this seems more like a statement put up here by a disgruntled ex-employee. If in fact you feel that you were taken advantage of and can prove to me that you were denied your full refund of your down payment then please call the customer service department number you originally called to cancel your coverage and we will make it right, reference this posting. Keep in mind also, that this company is strictly regulated by many independent associations and that tells me that your allegations are most likely not true.

Motor Vehicle Solutions is an inbound call center.  No outbound calling, no preying on anyone.  They are not affiliated with GM and are under strict compliance with the Vehicle Protection Association.  As a company, hanging up on customers is strictly forbidden.  So we apologize if this happened to you.  We constantly monitor our employees to be sure they are following compliance.  As for the refund, Motor Vehicle Solutions refunds all policies due a refund, within a 14 day time frame.  Cancellations within the first 30 days are due a full refund, however, under certain policies, you are sent a product, the refund is generated with the return of the product sent.  I suggest calling the company again, and let them review it with you, and ask for the customer service manager when you do.
