Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
They gave me a quote based on a much smaller volume that what was really needed for my move.
Price was really low, but watch out the price per cubic foot !
Well, I did not see it because it just was not written on their quotation.

Then once they were in possession of my goods,
they coerced me to pay a much higher price than quoted originally, otherwise they would not release my goods and kept them in storage with a fee that they also added to my bill.

They measured the volume in their warehouse,
when my goods were in their own possession,
and of course this volume was more than 3 times their quotation.

The thing is there is no way one could verify their final volume
until receiving the goods at home. By then, you will have already paid them fully.
Good luck to get back some money because they overstated your volume!

When I say that I would not pay the new price they give me, they warned me that theyd put my goods in storage, and that I would have to pay for that too. Of course, the bill just kept increasing the longer we argued. And of course I was never quoted in advance how much it was for storage.

After a while, if you read the fine prints you will find that they reserve the right to sell your stuff or simply to throw your stuff out to pay themselves!

So, in other words, once they have your goods, they have you by the balls.
And the more you protest, the more they will squeeze.

What I did is ask a friend to request for another quote from them for the final volume they measured in their warehouse. That quote was one third lower than what were trying to get out of me!
Of course, they argued earlier that such a price would not cover their shipping costs alone, let along their packing and pickup up costs!

Also, they added fees that were not included in the first quote,
and that I did not know existed:
Like the move taking place on a higher floor.
Like the elevator was too small.
That so many items would not fit into it.
That they had to park the truck so many meters away, and that would be so much extra.
That they had to bring in more men that they had planned to finish the job on time.
That packing was more involved for an apartment that size.

Check out the quotation they send you, they will actually avoid providing these types of details even if you provided them, so that they can charge them to you later.

Although they estimated the original volume on their own, they also accused us of giving them the wrong volume, so if the final price was so much higher it was our own fault! That topped it all off!

dont trust MoveCorp.

Move On.
You will avoid so much stress that way.

Happy moving.
