On October 22, 2001 Movers of the Valley left a message on my answering machine soliciting business for moving. I was very upset about this for several reasons which I will enumerate:

1) I have Security Screen(c) from QWEST which is designed to eliminate telemarketers.

2) I had received on of these calls previously and I asked them to take me of their list and not call again.

3) It took me a long time to find their number the first time. The phone number that comes up is (480) 615-7266 and you can't call back that number.

4) The secretary was elusive about giving answers about the telemarketing when I called her about the first call. She was then very nasty with me about getting the telemarketing calls and told me that that should be an issue to take up with QWEST. I had to trick her into telling me the name of the manager, Emmett Morris.

5) Emmett Morris never returned my call.

6) After the call on 10/22/01, I tried to call Mr. Morris again and Tony refused to put me in contact with me.

7) It is my understanding that this is against the law because I have asked not to be called and because I have specifically screened the calls.

8) This company has a policy to specifically circumvent anti-telemarketing devices to get their recording out.

9) QWEST confirms that this company is using an automatic call dialer that inserts a bogus number to put the call through and indicated that this is probably in contravention of the law.

10) I am personally offended by their attitude and their incursion into my privacy against my request.

Because they have done this, I want them to pay me $500 for each occurrence.

By Federal Law Movers of the Valley must pay me $1,000 for calling me after telling them not to solicit business from me and put me on their "no contact" list. This amount is based on not having to expend any more effort to collect from them.

"Tony" ALAWY MUNUDHIL owns this company and acts like he is above the law. Not only does he make the harrassing phone solicitations, but also on September 3,1998 he was fined $500 plus attorney's fees for not having Worker's Compensation insurance on his employees. He didn't resolve the fine and had to have a judgement filed against him by the Industrial Commission of Arizona to settle the matter. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH "MOVERS OF THE VALLEY" IN MESA. YOU'RE JUST ASKING FOR TROUBLE.
