Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Non performance over 3 years .....

This is a company that advertises settling your IRS claim for pennies on the dollar and that their employees are ex IRS employees with an accumulated 100s of years of experience. I paid their fee($2000.00) in monthly installments over a two year period starting over 3 years ago. I am retired and this was a great hardship for me.

About 2 years ago I received a letter stating that they were making an offer in compromise to the IRS on my behalf but because of long backlogs it would take some time to get an answer. Last summer after hearing nothing, zilch, nanda from JK HARRIS I began calling them. I was innitially told that my case had been resolved and closed. I told them that was impossible.

After more calls back and forth I was told finally that my case was closed because I never contacted them. After more calls I was told that mail to me had been returned as undeliverable or some such rot. It came to light that they were sending me mail to the wrong address. I gave them my correct address, which has not changed since I last heard from them 2 years ago by mail.

They then sent me a mountain of paperwork to fill out to start all over again.(The address once again had an error in it)I wrote twice and asked for a refund for non performance outlining the circumstances. I received a form letter in response to both letters rejecting my refund request. I then as a last hope wrote a lengthy letter to Mr. John K Harris, the apparent owner and CEO of the company outlining the details and asking him to do the right thing and send me a refund. Guess what this empathetic CEOs response was? Nothing, zip, nada.

Instead I received my 3rd copy of the exact same form letters previously sent. Not even a computer generated signature was attached to any of these kissoffs. I am on a fixed income. I deserve and need this refund. These ripoff artists need to be brought to task.

If you think a lawsuit would move these people to decency please tell me how a poor person goes about same. We are now going into the 4th year to the best of my memory. Throughout all this I have never been told of a response, if any was received, from the IRS 2 years ago. Can these sleeze balls actually get away with my very hard earned $2000.00? Help please.

Don
