MTE QuickestCashAdvance.com CMG CMG Threats invalid Refused To Provide It To Me! Refused to provide it to me but suspect Nationwide
My mother received a call from "Whitman" at CMG today. I returned the call only to be confronted by a nutball who threatened to sue, have my drivers license suspended, and put a hold on my income tax refund using a 1099-C. He claimed to have purchased the debt from Quickest Cash Advance and had my SSN#.
#1 1099C is for CANCELLATION of a debt and can not be used to file a claim against a federal or state income tax refund. 1099-A is similar but can not be used either (per phone contact with IRS)
#2 The gentleman threatened me next with suspending my drivers license and cited a NEW HAMPSHIRE statute claiming that Quickest Cash Advance is in New Hampshire and therefore NH law applies. I contacted the Missouri Dept. of Revenue which stated that drivers licenses can NOT be suspended for anything not related to a moving violation or traffic accident.
The nutball started quoting Bible scripture (incorrectly!), called me a thief at which point I hung up on him! He called me right back and dared me to hang up on him again and continued to shout over top of my repeated requests for their mailing address and company name. He then ordered me to hang up my phone and that if I didn't he would stay on the phone for the rest of my life!
I would like to get valid contact information on this CMG outfit. If you have had a similar experience. MTE is also the same company that hit my bank account THIRTEEN TIMES on the same day for progressively smaller amounts starting at $100, then $60, $30, and on down to $1. It cost me over $300 in overdraws, resulted in several returned checks, and forced me to have to close the account when they repeated the same thing the following day!
I have repeatedly told collection people to sue me over this account so I can put this into court and adjudicate the damages this company imposed upon me. Similar cases have been ruled in the debtors favor as a result of MTE's violation of it's own contract terms and misrepresentation.
