mygiftcardsite.com US Bank prepaid Mastercard Turned off my gift card with 1000 balance left wont allow me to access funds Internet
My company gave me a prepaid mastercard in 2012 with original balance $1080.00 confirmed by my company. I moved and misplaced the card and found it in Jan. 2016. I checked website where I had registered the gift card at www.mygiftcardsite.com and found the remainder balance of $1028.18 available to use. I tried to use the balance and card declined. I called the number on the back of the card and the company states that amount is no longer valid since they only load a max. of $500.00 on any gift card now.
They also asked if I know how much was orginally on the card and I told them 1080.00. They stated that again was the wrong balance. I asked them how to use my card and they stated I would be unable to do so since I am unable to confirm original balance. I asked if I could send in my info to confirm my identity and then be able to access funds they said no. I asked for managers to contact me and they said they would I have not heard back. I asked for a mailinh address to send in a complaint they stated we dont give that out. So now I have 1028.18 I am out and a gift card that doesnt expire until 07/20 that I cannot use. I would like to file a complaint and go to arbitration if needed to get my money. This is ridiculous!
