NACO/1000 Trails Deceptive, dishonest, exploits personal tragedies for profit Gautier Mississippi
Upon the death of my father (2005), I contacted NACO/1000 trails about a bill and was told several lies to get me to take ownership of a membership I was led to believe this was some form of ownership - it was only a membership, that I explained I would not use.
Although I asked about my options I was not given any other than to pay the yearly fee until I could sell it - now I find out there is nothing to sell - it has no value other than eligibility to participate.
Now the customer service is non-existant and not willing to do anything to rectify the situation. I have spent over $2000 trying to sell something I apparently didn't own and paying fees for something I haven't used. At the time of my fathers death, there was apparently NO obligation to do ANYTHING, I could have just cancelled, I was never told this.
The company must be desperate to take money from children who just lost thier father.
