NACS, National Association Credit Services rip-off fraud St. Pete Florida
The first part of January 2003 I received a phone call telling me that I was being sent a credit card, then as the conversation went on and after they had gotten my checking account number they told me they would deduct 200 dollars from my acct. on Feb. 5th, they then transferred to me another person who informed me that the conversation was being recorded. She assured me that if the whole 200 dollars wasn't in my acct at that time it would me o.k. because they would just keep going back until they got all of it!!!
After speaking with her for a few moments I told who "I don't want to do this, can I cancel?" She hung up. But I have had a feeling that they would try to deduct the money anyway. Today, Feb. 1, 2003, I received a form from them, (no phone number of course,) requesting my signature so that they can send the card. In very fine print it said that my signature is not necessary for
them to deduct the funds from my acct.
I returned the form with canceled written on it and told them to check the verification tape. On Monday I will certainly put a stop payment on the transaction.
