NADN lied to me and ripped me off for $810.95 consumer rip-off fraud Las Vegas Nevada
This is to add to the list of all of the other people that have been ripped off by NADN. I ordered the free cassette of tax saving tips off of the website. I was later called several times about signing up for a membership. Initially I declined but after hearing about saving $3,000 on taxes I finally agreed. They told me that I had a 30-day money back trial and they billed my credit card for $810.95. I looked over the box of information they sent me and decided it was not worth the money they were charging so I sent in a fax a few days later to cancel my membership and receive a refund. A few days after sending in my fax canceling the membership I got a call from Lee "the scam man" Johnson. He told me that he was really suprised that I was canceling my membership and he wanted to extend my 30 day free trial to a 12 month guarantee. I asked him if this meant that I could cancel any time during the 12 month period and receive a full refund and he said that I could. He also said that he would throw in 2001 tax preparation for free and that he would be sending me some more stuff in the mail. I got a letter about a week and a half later summarizing our phone conversation. The letter stated that I had to use NADN's tax saving tips for 12 months and only after 12 months if NADN didn't save me $3,000 in new tax deductions then I could cancel and get a refund. This letter was totally different than what Lee told me on the phone. So I called him immediately. When I finally got through to him after leaving numerous voice mails he told me that I had made a verbal contract and that they could not refund me the money. So, I asked him for a copy of the phone conversation that he recorded, hoping that the part where he said that I could cancel any time during the 12 month period and get a full refund was recorded. He told me that he would send me a copy of our conversation from the tapes. A month went by and I heard nothing from him. So, I called him back yesterday. He told me that he would not give me a copy of our verbal contract and that I would have to go through an attorney to get them. He also bascially laughed in my face and said that I would have to wait 12 months and use all of the NADN fradulent strategies in order to get my money back. I bascially have been screwed out of $810.95 and lied too. If you are reading this I am guessing the same has happened to you and you are pissed about it as well and I am sorry.
