I purchased a Public Access Internet Terminal from Nationwide Cyber Systems on Feb. 18, 2003. Nationwide Cyber Systems has commercials on television of this new ground floor opportunity and information on how much income is generated and how simple it is. They make claims that are just not true before and after you send your money in full. On March 24 at 3:00pm I called and asked for a refund.

I had not one location appointment and I had given them about 5 leads. That was work I didn't expect to have to do. I was transferred to a Joe Pasqual who said he was manager right under Pemberton. He said they would not give me a refund and that he promised to have a location for me by the end of the week. My main use for terminal was to place it in a casino, which is advertised by NCS, and I was told that would be no problem. I came to find out that it was a problem.

I (like many others) was so misled and literally lied to over the telephone several times by a Mauricio Paz, about this particular terminal and how the business works. Even after I paid $14,495 for the terminal lies continued and false information was revealed.

For example, I was told before I sent the money that they already had national advertising on the terminal where I would generate $820 per month immediately and prepaid calling cards where I would get 30% profit from sales. Neither was true to this day which is 9 months later. I was told the money included great support and free lifetime upgrades. I find out now that technical support is $60 a phone call and now there is a wireless upgrade connection but I must pay over $800 to get it placed on my terminal.

The terminal came with a 1 year warranty and service. It was not until May 19, 2003 (90 days later) that a damaged terminal was delivered to Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport. When I realized it was used and damaged and I called for it to be replaced. It took another week for delivery. On June 17 I got a call from the airport that a user had lost money and made a complaint, from the mouse/cursor being frozen. Went to airport had to hard boot pc to get the cursor to work. I called NCS and no one called me back about it.

On June 18 got another call from the airport about terminal not working. I called NCS again and again no call back. I went to airport again and had to hard boot terminal to get cursor to work. The airport is more than a half hour from me. On June 22 I again had to go to airport and reboot terminal and two credit card refunds were demanded because nothing had yet been done to correct problem.

Since then a tech. came out twice to replace keyboard and trackball then later had to replace the whole pc and keyboard and trackball all the while making this terminal, industry and myself look very bad and going days without generating any income. On Sept. 24 received another phone call that the mouse/cursor again was frozen. Again it took a week to get someone to do a report to get it fixed from NCS. I rebooted it and luckily it continued to work.

Since Sept. 22 I have not had one credit card transaction at all. My credit card reader is not working. I called NCS tech. from the terminal and could not get it to work. It had been three weeks that NCS and KIS has had knowledge of the problem and nothing has been done. By the fifth week KIS finally sent the part and called a tech. To replace CC reader. I had to call the tech several times because he never called me to do the job. That didn't work out and the credit card reader is still damaged.

I sent a second email to Bart Pemberton on Oct. 21 and spoke to him on the phone. I had spoken to him and sent him one previous to that. On Oct. 18 my terminal has been showing no service at all from emails I received from KIS and financials show no income. After faxes and speaking to Bart Pemberton and even recording his promises on phone I have not heard from him nor has he returned any of my calls. I am still receiving emails from terminal not reporting (meaning not working) from surfnet premier and receive phone calls for refunds from people losing their money. I have had my father recently take a loan from a bank for me to prevent a bankruptcy in which has only prolonged my situation from having to claim bankruptcy because that has still added another debt.

It is very sad how NCS is really ruining good people's lives by not rendering services promised. I am financially and emotionally drained from this "simple business opportunity" that cost me everything I had. I am physically disabled and collect social security.
