A representative called me on my cellphone December 18, 2007 advising me that since I had paid my income taxes on time for the past few years, I qualify to receive $2000 of my own money, that I don't have to pay back. Well first off, I knew it was bogus, because the IRS does not have my cellphone number (just got it a few months ago) second, If this was the case, I would have received a notice and it would have been broadcasted all over the News and Newspapers. Anyway going on, this rep kept talking and in the process of me saying I was not interested, he recited my entire Bank account information to me and wanted to know if it was correct, I told him NO (even though it was correct) I attempted to throught him off, so I asked for a Customer Service number of which he did give me...freely. I hung up from him and called the number and it was wrong, the company has no idea and had been getting all kinds of similiar calls like mines. Well it slipped my mind until I had a $29.95 debit from my account. Had no clue what it was and the number on the transaction was Bogus. So the same day, I got a letter from National Health Net Online (opened it) and had no clue what it was...so I called the number it was wrong. They have the number listed as 1-866-923-3611 (which gives you a fast busy ALL day) I looked it up online and got the correct number which is 1-800-923-3611 and I called them, got a rep online that acted like she had no clue (probably was a family member to whomever the guy was that called me) but she argued with me and wanted for me to agree not to contact my bank is the only way they would refund my money back, Im like what does that have to do with my refund, they wanted for me to record agreeing to not contacting my bank...well I felt like they would have fixed it up to make me look stupid, and I know she was in on the SCAM, because when she stated that we already got you on record agreeing to the terms of the Insurance, was a dead give away. People I have closed my account before they attempt anything and disputed the $29.95 my bank had no problem after I sent them the letter and gave them the story. Please don't be so eager to give ur account numbers, its getting worse the scam artists are getting smarter, but can be defeated if we stick together and be more cautiuous when people we don't know from Customer Service calls us offering services that we didn't inquire about.

Hope this helps.
