Complaint ID:  98651513                     Complaint Description - Posted 11/18/2011 8:45:11 AM

I was originally told that the forensic loan audit process would take 45 to 60 days.  After 85 days I verbally via phone, as well as in writing, requested a total refund due to inactivity on their part.

From the very beginning they sent a "QWR" request to my mortgage company for the documents they needed. I was told that I would receive an update on the status of my account once a week. That never happened even once.  Every time I called I was promised that someone would call me back. That rarely happened.  They kept telling me they were waiting on the documents.

After 60 days I asked them what documents they needed.  As it turned out all they needed was copies of my original loan documents that I already had!  I sent them my documents and they kept saying they were reviewing the case.

When we received a foreclosure notice after 85 days they told us that now it will cost me another $1250.  I fired them and requested a refund on Oct 20th.  With total lack of customer service, inept business practices, lack of communication, I feel entitled to a total refund.  I also feel that they purposely waited until my house went into foreclosure in an attempt to suck more money out of me.

I hired a local attorney to do the same forensic loan audit that Nationwide Financial Consulting offered and he completed it in 10 days. NFC changed their website and I no longer see the 100% satisfaction guarantee, but it was there when I started.

Complaint Summary:

I have twice requested a refund due to lack of activity on my account. They waited until my mortgage went into foreclosure and then asked for more $.

Resolution Sought

Total refund of $750
