NRS picked up my stuff on May 4 and were expected to deliver 9-19. Close to the end of the delivery window, no "customer service" agents claimed they were able to find my things, or to ever give me a weight ticket for an accurate price. They just said "it probably hasn't changed from the quote". Right. Subsequent calls later gleaned that my stuff had never left the Houston, TX warehouse it was brought to the day after pickup and it was now two days after end of delivery window. No one ever called to tell me that delivery was not going to happen, no one ever calls you back, endless hold times. They never apologize for the stress they're putting you through, neither do they seem to register that what they're doing is actually a problem.

Finally, weeks later, the carrier (which I've found your belongings go through multiple brokers and carriers-NRS-colonial van lines-Allstate relocation) called the day of to schedule delivery for the 24, then called 10 min before delivery and cancelled, and did this multiple times. A week later told me that he tried to deliver last week but I was unable to accept. Not True.

My delivery did happen on June 6-a full 16 days after last scheduled delivery date, and my 65" TV was trashed-looked like someone had kicked the screen in, 12/30 boxes looked like they had been thrown off of a truck in motion more than a couple times, and multiple other things were damaged. This company (unless you drop another $500 for full reimbursement insurance) only claims they're liable for 0.60 cents/lb. Unfortunately my $1110 TV only weighs about 50 lbs. I find it horrible that they can blatantly treat your personal belongings like garbage, after promising to care for them, and then claim they're not liable.

They should be ashamed. I will fight for my late fees, full reimbursement for the item they completely trashed, and a discount for the misery and stress they have put me through.

Your moving van company (Colonial) tried to force me to have about $2,000 more money at delivery than my binding estimate said I would have to have and for extra weight I didn't have as documented by CAT Scale Co. who weighed it in Marshall, MI at 5,560 lbs. , not 7,400 lbs when the truck was weighed in Walton, KY with another load on it.

38 days later when I would not agree to your extra fraudulent charges, the police were contacted along with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Enforcement Division, Move Rescue, and the Consumer Complaint Agency who all helped me locate the driver and get my stuff returned to me in Oregon!  The driver arrived and said you flew him in from Texas to get my stuff delivered. And you came on the only day the storage unit was closed to semis (late Sunday afternoon) when I was told he would come no later than noon. You knew I had an important engagement I couldn't miss that evening yet you planned for him to come on that afternoon. This is another one of your scams.

In doing so, I was forced to have you deliver my good to a home I was only temporarily staying at instead of into the storage unit I had rented and told you I wanted you to delivery to.  Then you gorged me for$550 extra dollars at delivery for having to carry my stuff up the driveway a little farther than usual.  Move Rescue told me to just give you the money you wanted and then for me to fight for the correct refund afterwards.  It's a good thing I charged back my "binding estimate fee" and my credit card company declared you committed fraud and bad business practices and made the charge backs permanent. So instead of answering to my credit card company's fraud department you bypassed this and sent your fraudulent bill you say I owe to your cozy collecition agency when in fact, you owe me money for my losses and pain and suffering for a neck injury that couldn't get attention because you had my inversion table and other necessary medical devices on your truck! In fact, that is why you finally got my stuff delivered to me!! Because you knew it was highly against the law to hold someone's medical devices and medicines on your trucks for any unreasonable amount of time. I'd say 38 days is highly unreasonable!!!!

No, your company fraudulently reported my weight significantly higher and did not settle anything with me.  Instead you turned over the balance you say I owe you to your cozy collection agency.

You are still not communicating with me and the DOT's FMCSA enforcement division is investigating your despicable, unethical hostage take over of my belongings for 38 days which included my physical therapy equipment for a healing neck injury.  You were going to keep it another 10 days trying to force me to pay for an unnecessary long-carry that was totally exagerated (said it took five hours instead of one hour and charge me $550 for it).  If it had not been for the FMCSA, I would not have received my goods until June 29-July 2.  You took my property on May 17th!!  I had to call the police and report my property as stolen in both Michigan and Oregon.

The Consumer Complaint Agency has sided in my favor and reprimanded you as well.

Ms. Adams, we have reviewed your online submission and located your account. We regret we were unable to execute your relocation within your requested moving dates and to hear of your displeasure in the interaction between you and our company.

The moving industry is one of a dynamic and unpredictable nature. Our contracts are drafted with this in mind as stated in the Terms & Conditions included in the documentation you received during your booking process. We make every effort in performing our customers' moves within the estimated moving dates as contracted and try to accommodate our customers despite circumstances that occur beyond our control but unfortunately at times our attempts prove futile.

Our team sincerely apologizes for the extreme delay in the delivery of your items. Your account reflects that as t here was a significant amount deducted from your balance due at delivery as compensation. Also, it shows that your additional weight charges were waived and the claim which you filed for your losses have been settled. Nationwide Relocation Services hopes that this was satisfactory to you.

Should you have any further questions or concerns feel free to contact our office at 888-219-7171 at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Nationwide Relocation Services.

I am With You and Ready to Fight Nationwide and their Gang

Mafia tactics, third world country and underworld behavior, that is what Nationwide and its gang adhere to!  I was recovering from two serious spinal injuries and they cause me great suffering while waiting for my belongings which included my physical therapy equipment.

Please call me or email me so we can get all those together who have been horribly mistreated by this company and its affiliates and sue them in court once and for all. The US Dept. of Transportation is well aware of their "bait and switch contract" scams turning a low binding estimate with Nationwide into an unbinding open-ended contract with much higher fees through a moving company they subcontract with such as Colonial Van Lines.  Forced loadings, signing blank contracts under duress after your stuff is all loaded or else suffer loss of your stuff which is now in their van, pick-up and delivery dates miss, new fees added at delivery for driveway lenght never told to you by Nationwide, etc.

The only way I got my stuff delivered was after contacting the DOT, Move Rescue.org, and Consumers' Complaint Agency explaining to them of my spinal injuries and physical condition and need for my physical therapy equipment. I think Nationwide would have continued to keep my shipment as last priority and for a lot longer than the 38 days they did, because they thought I was just a poor, single, older woman moving from a small home across country.

Please, how do all of us contact each other to start a class action suit against this company?

I submitted my claim to Christine in the president's office phone number 855-820-6917 on 6/7. Received a settlement request in the amount of $874, which was a lot more generous than the letter of the contract allows. Don't go through the company, they'll tell you you'll get $30/day late fees then someone else will tell you that you had to purchase the "guaranteed delivery" option. Interestingly, its not actually an option, buy is discussedon the BACK of the contract. Weasles are easier to talk to. If enough people call the president's office maybe they'll understand their company's horrible service.
