Nationwide has done it again.  This time to my teenager.  We ordered a transmission from Nationwde back in October of last year.  It took more than three weeks to get the transmission to our mechanic.  Supposely it was shipped to my home address instead of the mechanics address that they had.  Not long after the transmission was replaced in the car, it started acting up.  My daughter said it was running funny.  I drove the car and it would not shift.  I called Josh at Nationwide in January of this year.   He had told me to take it back to my mechanic to look at it and not to worry that it was under warranty.

Back and forth to the mechanics shop several times until the check engine light came on and my mechanic was able to get a code, which turned out to be the transmission not shifting out of lower gears.  I had the mechanic call Nationwide and let them know what was going on.  They said they would put the complaint to the warranty department.  This was sometime in April.  I spoke at one time with Lee and he said they were still waiting for an answer from the warranty department.  After that I never, I mean never was able to contact nationwide by phone again.  I was able to email Josh at one point.  He answered me back with an email saying that the warranty department approved a replacement transmission and it would be shipped on May 13th, 2013.

At this point in time, I call all their numbers and leave messages when I can and no one returns my call.  I am pretty sure they have the same VOP as I do at work and I am also sure that they have blocked my phone number, as you can do that with this phone system.  I don't know where else to turn and my daughter is out $ 1460.00.  She has worked very hard for this money to fix her car that she loves and I am unable as a single parent to shell out more money to replace this transmission.  Maybe a class action law suit would get some attention.
