Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Have used this company twice for rebuilt/reman transmissions , and like my mother used to say " You get what you pay for .". First order was quoted a delivery time of 3-4 days for an Allison tranny , well more like 2 weeeks . Called Ben numerous times to check status of delivery left messages no call back . So i called over and over and over until i got someone to answer the phone , well when i did get someone to answer he informed me "I see you called quite a few times , if you would of left a message we would of callled you back ." REALLY I left messages daily and never did get a call back . to that i was told " If we dont answer the phone we are not doing our job ." HUMMMMMM sounds like you're not doing your job then.

So now the current issue at hand , ordered a transmission on 5/2/2013 for a 2008 Chevy Uplander again was told 3-4 days well got it on 5/16/2013 . All good right ??? NNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it wasn't . Installed new transmission that afternoon decided it was late enough I'll fill it in the morning and get it out of here . Filled transmission with 12 quarts of DEXRON VI ($9.99 each ) , hooked up scan tool and tried to start van . Humm wouldn't start , so after a few hours of tinkering with it thru the scan tool found the transmission was in park by gear selector BUT was reading in 3RD thru the TCM.

Found out that the main wiring harness on connector was a 3 prong connector not a 4 like the 1 i took out. CAlled them and explained problem was told they were going to look into it and call back , waiting a day started calling again and again and again was told it wouldn't work YA THINK . was told i would get another transmision on Tuesday 5/21/2013 . Called on 5/22/2013 and they didnt answer phone so i started leaving messages and more messages . Was told on the 23rd it was in Greensboro , well I'm in Winston Salem so should have it Friday , right ?

Well it's Tuesday 5/28/2013 no call back so I call again ( I see a pattern here ) , today i was told the shipping company lost the transmission  ( another pattern as I have read online ) . So yea I'm a little pissed off now , was told I could get a refund but i would eat the 8 hours of book time to put the wrong transmission in and take it out .9 BY the way i gave them the VIN # for the van so I could get the right part the first time . ) I have about 12 hours into this and I have to still pay my mechanic for this time , I guess I'm stuck waiting on them to send me a unit so I can at least recover some of the money I'm losing .
