Capital Credit Alliance ripoff with nothing listed from the BBB only on Rip-off Report ..Thankful surfer
Hello,
I have received three of these cards in the mail just
this year alone. When I rec'd. the first one I
checked it out at the BBB.com and there home page had
a letter stating that the credit card could only be
used on their products and it does not work like a
regular credit card. So I then cut up the card and
ripped up the letter.
When I checked my mail today, I found two letters in
my box from Capital Credit Alliance (C.C.A). I live
in an apt. complex so on letter had my correct address
with apt.# and the other just had the street address.
It did not look like the same card from before so
again I went online to check out the name and came up
with nothing from the BBB in Nevada. So I did a word
search with "First Capital Las Vegas Nevada" and found
your page Rip-off Report.com.
I just want to thank you for your information on your
experience with the customer service person. I have
had such a hard time with solicitors calling me and
offering me things that I did not ask for that I
probably would have been very rude with her if she had
not answered my questions.
I did want to supply you with the address other info.
that was on this letter.

The card is issued by FIRST CAPITAL CARD and they use
the term "The First Capital Merchant Credit Card
Advantage". I am not sure if your card had this same
offer, but they are using "Cash On-Demand". This is
same as withdrawing money from the card balance.
After reading the "fine print" this work just like a
Check Cashing business. You have to qualify and
supply your banking info. and receive this card to use
at a specified establishment to receive the money.
What a rip off. You named this web page correctly.
