Dear Consumers: My name is Matthew Barrass and I am the Regional/General Manager of Nationwide Pools, Inc. located in Pompano Beach, Florida. ONE OF MY GOALS HERE TODAY, IS THAT EVERYONE PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ ALL OF THIS REBUTAL AS WELL AS FOR EVERYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING USING ANY TYPE OF CONTRACTOR TO DO YOUR RESEARCH THROUGHLY BEFORE PASSING JUDGEMENT. Nationwide Pools, Inc. prides ourselves on not only offering a very high quality product but also offering a very high level of customer service. I was made aware of this complaint today (March 10, 2008) and have spent the last several hours researching all of all records (contracts, files, fax logs, even appointment records) and have not been able to find any such person under the name of John Walles, as well as not even being able to find any John at all located in Hollywood, Florida. So, in this case, I do not believe that this so called person even exists. I strongly believe that this may be jealous competitor that as stooped to this low level to try and sell swimming pools. Any of the people whose homes that I visit know that at NO TIME do I ever knock another pool contractor in order to sell a Nationwide Pool. Nationwide Pools strongly believes in building value in what we (NWP) have to offer as well as always being both professional and courtesy to everyone. However, if the author of this complaint does exist, please feel free to contact either Keith or myself at our office #(954) 227-7665 as soon as possible in order to be able to discuss and/or resolve this matter as quickly as possible. I also know that if I personally ever had a problem with any company and thought that I was in the right in any way shape or form that I would have no problem what so ever listing my name as well as giving my contact information in the hope of being contacting in order to resolve the matter. In saying that, at this time I would like to give my cellular phone number to any consumer as well as any one else with interest in this report and/or reports on or against Nationwide Pools, Inc., my number is (954) 261-9013 and I am available seven (7) days a week. Please consider that we (NWP) understand the need for such a web site such as this one (RIP OFF REPPORT) to exist, but it does leave all business owners open to receive malicious, slanderous as well as fraudulent reporting. I would also like to add that Nationwide Pools, Inc. is not a non-profit organization so we are in business to make a fair profit, however we do so honestly and ethically as well as always abiding by any and all Florida State Laws. All of our (NWP) contracts clearly state the following: OWNERS RIGHT TO CANCEL: This contract may be cancelled by Owner within seventy-two (72) hours of its execution, by the giving of written notice of cancellation to Contractor at its place of business by registered mail, return receipt requested. Proof of such cancellation may be established in only one fashion, specifically, by production of official U.S. Postal Service forms which reflect the giving of such notice. In the event of such cancellation, Owner shall incur no liability to Contractor by reason of the cancellation. As it relates to Nationwide Pools offering all of our clients the highest levels of customer service we (NWP) do offer every client a seven (7) day Price Match Guarantee which clearly states that if any client can provide a contract from another licensed and insured pool contractor matching our (NWP) specifications, that we (NWP) will either match that price or give back a full 100% refund, with NO QUESTIONS ASKED. According to our current records with the Better Business Bureau, we (NWP) only have fifteen complaints filed against us over the past thirty-six (36) months. That is based on approximately nine hundred (900) jobs contracted over that same time frame of 36 months. **THAT IS LESS THAN 2% OF OUR CLIENTS NOT BEING SATISFIED, WHICH MEANS THAT APPROXIMATELY 98% OF OUR (NWP) CLIENTS ARE SATISFIED. In my humble opinion, I think that most corporations across America would be very happy with a 98% APPROVAL RATING. In saying that, we (NWP) know that there is always room for improvement and believe me, one of Keith and my goals this year is to try and please 100% of our clients both now as well as in the future. In closing, please keep in mind that there are always two (2) sides to every story and this has been an honest and true response of our (NWP) side. Also, if anyone would like either a copy of our (NWP) contract and/or our (NWP) seven-day price guarantee or has any other questions at all, please fell free to call me at anytime. I would also like to thank RIP OFF REPORT for the opportunity to respond as well as thank them for the service that they do provide to all honest consumers. Nationwide Pools, Inc. feels that a very important aspect to shopping for a pool contractor today, is that you also take the time to visit someone's place of business, you can tell a lot about a contractor by doing so. So, at this time, we (NWP) would like to extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to come and visit our corporate office and design center. Sincerely, Matthew Barrass, Regional & General Manager Nationwide Pools, Inc.
