Do not use this company! You will regret it like I did! I have always used my regular carpet cleaning company but I was in a hurry to get my carpets cleaned with a baby on the way. So I decided to call Natural Organic Cleaning Services. Talk about a huge mistake. They showed up in a small Toyota hatchback, which at that point I should of told them to leave. They came into the house and started immediately wetting my carpet. No vacuuming at all! Didn’t even ask if I had vacuumed before they came. Now, the carpet is less than two years old and I was complemented many times on how well maintained it was. Now for those of you that are unaware of how carpet cleaning works there are two types. Deep extraction cleaning where a company vacuums, then soaks then actually takes all the dirt out of the house and puts it in a tank in there professionally looking vans. Then there is Natural Organic Cleaning Services. Like I said before, no vacuuming, immediately wet the carpet and then the magic happens…they bring in a glorified floor polisher called a spinning bonnet. It spins really fast and rubs all the dirt that was on your carpet right back into the carpet! No dirt is actually taken from the house. The best part is…the machine wrecks all the carpet fibers; it basically untangles them and makes your carpet look all matted. Within 24 hours after they left every one of my stains was still there and even better, they are now all worse! They have just got darker and darker as each day goes by.
Now, I immediately read my “Customer Protection Agreement” which I signed before they left. It says that, I am entitled to a spot free guarantee within 48 hours of the cleaning. Pretty easy stuff here right? This is where things got interesting. I now had the pleasure to deal with the most unprofessional company in my life. All I wanted from the very beginning was my $209 back so I could get my carpets cleaned by a real carpet cleaning company. I made it very clear that they were not going to touch my carpet and they didn’t quite grasp that concept. They really wanted another try. During my conversations with a so called franchise owner named Anna I was told that they needed to come do a re-clean and that the “majority” of the homes they clean require a re-clean…I’m not sure why a company would admit that. She also told that there was something wrong with me. Her husband Steve cleans the carpets and he hung up on me as well. I tried multiple times to speak with the owner Jared Mcbride and I was denied each time. I have read a few responses that he did on yelp and in one of them he offered the lady a full refund. I though this was interesting because I was told it was against there policy to offer refunds. I’m actually hoping the owner reads this and offers me a refund as well.
I am in the process of filing a small claims suit for my $209. I know its not much money but no company should treat a customer like this. So when I was gathering information for my small claims suit I couldn’t find any registered business information. They told me they were located in the City of Murrieta, which they do have a small office. They are just unlicensed and this was confirmed by the city. The city told me they would be sending their code enforcement team to their location to cite them for operating without a license. I also found that this company used to go by the name “Pure Organics Carpet Cleaning”. They received such a bad name that they had to switch the name. Pure Organic had its licensed suspended by the State of California so they just switched everything from Pure to Natural (the owners name is the same for both companies). No licenses, means no insurance, which means when they wreck your carpet you have no protection. All I wanted was my $209 back and now I have to waste my time writing reviews to prevent other people from getting screwed.
