NCO Financial sent a debt collection notice for $693.00. The amount is a debt that I do not owe, nor did I ever do business with the company stating I owe this amount.

We should be able to sue collection agencies for disrupting our lives. Its unfair for these abusive collectors to come on this site & call people deadbeats during this time In the economy Its hard to come up with money. These collectors know they can be held libel calling people deadbeats but they do It anyway all the poster of the complaint has to do Is print a copy of there complaint & all the comments. And hire an attorney to sue for slander defamantion of character, Its pretty low what these abusive collectors do to people on this site. People have enough to worry about & then having to put up with being humiliated. With me I just plain don't care what people say Its my life not theres to judge.

Go to www.budhibbs.com Consumer Advocate website specializing in collections - advice and instructions available. Check here also for your state's requirement about recording calls. YOU need to record calls so you can sue them for FDCPA violations. NCO is one of the worst FDCPA violators in the US. DO NOT CALL THEM - it won't do any good. You have to do everything in writing. Send certified mail return receipt. First thing to do is send them a debt validation demand, they cannot validate so are required by law to cease collections. Also send them a cease communications letter.

This is one of the worst third party collection agencies Send them a cease communications letter via certified mail with return receipt requested Also visit www.budhibbs.com and learn your rights I have dealt with these jackasses and they have no shame!!! Nip it in the bud before they something to cause you more stress Also - visit your Secretary of State's website - see if there is any restrictions on debt collection - in the State of Texas a debt collector must have a Surety Bond on file - That is what helped me nail a debt collector in court when I sued and won Good luck Keep us posted
