Sassy: I worked for NCO for several years. You are a Texas resident and you have the right to dispute the alleged debt. By law, the collection agency (NCO) has thirty days to provide you a response to your dispute. If you received a response from the agency that is more than thirty days from the date your dispute letter was received, NCO may have violated Texas statute as well as the FDCPA by not providing you proof of the debt. See my story as many consumers in Texas have been aggrieved by NCO Financial Systems. You can contact me directly and I will provide you with information regarding a possible class action against this company. I can also provide you more information on NCO's policies and procedures and at that time you can decide if you indeed wish to proceed with legal action against NCO. I will provide contact information should you not be able to get it from my Rip-Off Report. My report is under the following title/heading: "NCO Financial Systems Collection, Agency, Violations, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, Texas, lawsuit, class action Horsham Pennsylvania"
