I joined NDI it seemed like a good thing, to good. They offer you dicounts on everything you could ever want to buy. All you have to do is pay a small membership fee and then they tell you there is also a yearly fee to buy from them.

So i joined and looked at the dicounts you get on their website. The discounts were a dollar on a playstation2 and other products there were none or it was more then a local store.

After i saw this i canceled my membership. They give you 3 days to cancel. So on that 3rd day i sent in my signed cancellation notice. They say they never got it, and now they have turned it over to a collection agency called CMS that won't give me their address. They want me to pay $1,688 in the next 8 months for my NDi "debt" or they will take legal action. This NDI company seems to prey on college students, so be careful.

I have owed them 1500 since 2001. I canceled the next day, the said they never recieved the cancelation notice. I have never even used there service nor have I ever sent them a penny. But yet they insist I owe them 1500 u.s. I will never ever ever pay them. They are a total rip off!!! Anyone who defends them most likely is part of the company. I am intentially waiten 7 years so they will be taken off my credit report. If its not off by next year im taking them to court. THIS COMPANY INCLUDING IT MANAGEMENT, AND STAFF ARE ALL DESCENDENTS OF THE (fill in with your choice of words)!!!

It depends on what you need. I joined NDI as well. Sure, it's $1500 to join. I like it so far. We got a new toddler bed for only $35 shipped to our door. That is SO much cheaper than what even WalMart charges. I even thought about getting a twin bed as well. But I haven't paid my member dues for the current year. I still owe about $1000, but I think it's well worth it in the long run. One thing you MUST remember: you are getting prices for items shipped DIRECTLY to you, without paying extra taxes on top. What they quote is what they'll ship it for, and if you find the exact same item at a lower price than them, they will ship it DIRECTLY to you for the lower price. There are some restrictions on price comparison shopping, but not many. I think it's better in the long-run. I've had some payment disputes, but I chose to pay them directly through Online Banking because the payments are tracked. I had a problem with a payment not posting, and my bank took care of all of it. I didn't even have to call them. It's a Rip-off if you don't understand what it is and how to use it.

Daniel, I was told that if you were able to show that you had your postcard postmarked by the 3rd day on your membership that they would have cancelled it for you. But how can you do that if you don't have your mail certified? I mean if they have the post card somewhere in their office and you don't have it than how can you tell. I was scammed like you. Not sure if you check back here or not but if you do please respond.
