Newport News/Skin Store ripoff cashed my check but sent nothing!! Hampton Virginia
Back in February, I was sent a catalog called The Skin Store, it was a smaller catalog thru Newport news that specialized in skin products.
I filled out the order form, sent in a check, but have recieved NOTHING. I called newport news after almost 2 monthes of waiting, thinking it just took a while. Well, when I called customer service, they must have bounced me around to about 6-7 different people, each being "better able to help me" than the previous operator. Having to explain my situation every time was starting to annoy me.
Newport news was telling me that either they did not have such a catalog or they would try to help me locate my merchandise. So, which was it? I have the cashed check from my bank, so there must be a store? So where is my merchandise that I have bee waiting for for about 5 monthes now?

I am a floor supervisor at Newport News, INC-
I feel for you and can imagine how frustrating it
is for you to know that someone has cashed your check but no one can tell you who it is or what is going on with your order.
I assure you, our clothing company has never mailed a catalog called the skin store. Please contact customer svc again, mail or fax us a copy of the cashed check showing the back of the check and the front and we will be able to definitely verify that the check was not cashed by our company-if it somehow turns out that our company did cash the check we will issue immediate and full refund. Good luck
