NewTiburon.com fraudulent ripoff business false promises slow prossessing Surrey, B.C. Internet
In late 2002, NewTiburon.com's online store was offering diecast replicas of the Hyundai Tuscani coupe for $22.00 + shipping. I placed my order on November 10, 2002, expecting my diecast to arrive within less than a month. More than a month later, I followed up on my order, but they claimed that the diecast was not in stock.
Two months had passed, and I still had not received my diecast. The moderator told me to post a copy of my order on the site's message board because the store had problems with PayPal. Shortly after posting my order, "cheori", the moderator, asked if I wanted something else. I made it clear to her that all I want is the black Tuscani diecast I paid $30 for.
It is July 6, 2003. Eight months have passed since I placed my order with NewTiburon.com and I have not received my product. I posted on their boards, demanding a full refund if my diecast fails to arrive by the end of the month. All I get in response from cheori is this:
"thanks for the patients."
Never mind the poor grammar, but I really don't like it when people give me the run-around when it comes to stuff I paid for.
I do not wish to seek legal action, but I will be forced to if I do not get my diecast car or my money back.
