I found this company, nfljerseysupply.com, when 'googeling Cheap NFL Jerseys'.  I should have known to be cautious just by the fact that they were half the price of every other site I checked into.  I should have known to be carefull because the site did not list either an address or telephone but only an email link.  I should have known that no respectable company has only one email contact and that one thru a free service (G Mail).

I should have become suspicious when, after entering  my Amex CC # and billing info I was directed to use a diferent CC.  I should have paused when I recieved the same deniel after entering my Discover card info.  I should have relized that the noose was tighting when I was directed to a "sister web sight" that would accept my forms of payment and found that it did not accept Amex and you could not enter a Discover account.

This new sight did however display both the Visa and Mastercard logos.  Being basically a trusting person and obviosly as 'dense in the head as lead' I procedded to enter my sisters Visa card # and her billing info (I do not have a Visa card).  From all appearences the order was processed and I was informed that if I did not get an order confirmation from the web site within twenty minutes I would get an email.

Aftrer waiting a full day with no email I logged back on to the site and checked my order status.  This was when I found that 'according to this order status page I had placed two identical orders and that the credit card had been processed.  I immediatly sent an email explaining that I had only hit the 'process order' button once and in fact did not want two orders.  A full day later I recieved a reply from the company explaing that the credit card had not been processed and that no orders would be sent, I should go back to the web page and place another order!

You know I almost did.  But my frustration more so than my fraud radar began to sound alarms.  Because of this I "Googled" the company and found several web sites worth of fraud stories, they also listed the home location of the website as being in communist China.  Now, not only am I living in trepedation of having charges made to both my Amex and Discover accounts  but I must call my sister and warn her that her information and identity may be compromised!

Sure if the money is billed to my account I will probably get it back from the credit card companies but who reimburses the credit card companies in the long run but you and I?  I don't even want to think about the problems and costs I will experience if this does turn into an identity theft situation as well.  Saving $40.00 is just not worth it.
