This report is written in response to Mr. Havers' false claims on the television broadcast of BBC Watchdog.

First I would like to highlight that Medlock Apartments is NOT a lettings agency! Medlock Apartments provides serviced accommodation in Manchester city centre has done so since 2008. Thefore the claims made on BBC Watchdog are completely false! Mr. Havers is well aware of this and refused to point this out during the TV broadcast. Mr Havers please get your facts right and stop lying to the millions watching on TV! Your only making youself look like a LIAR.

Medlock Apartments were contacted by Julia Forsyth who is Mr. Havers' personal assistant. Juila placed a reservation for a 1 bedroom apartment for 6 months. A choice of two rate types were offered and Julia opted to proceed with the lower rate which was pre-paid and non-refundable.

Mr Havers then check into his apartment and was satisfied with his stay for the first 4 months. A month before Mr Havers due departure date, we informed Julia that the landlord of the apartment was planning on selling the apartment. We offered Julia an alternative apartment within the same buiding for Mr. Havers remaining stay which was of only 7 days or so.

Julia agreed that Mr. Havers would vacate by 4th June (I have a record of this in my email inbox). Medlock Apartments provided the landlord with the go ahead to sell the apartment and a key exchange date was set.

Mr Havers returned from a holiday or wherever he was, only to call Medlock Apartments and advise that he refused to leave. We then advised Mr. Havers that arrangement has been made according to Julia's email. Mr Havers responded 'well she made a mistake, people make mistakes all the time and im not moving out'.

Medlock Apartments acted both honestly and fairly throughout this whole ordeal as Mr. Havers decided to make things harder for himself. He not only failed to aknowldge the fact that his PA made a mistake, he failed to accept the circumstances of that mistake.

Mr. Havers then went on to make matters even more difficult for himself by changing the locks to his apartment, which meant that neither Medlock Apartment or the Selling agent could gain access.

Mr. Havers was forced to vacate and is now demanding the monies that he has paid for his whole stay!

Mr. Havers.. you were given an option to move to another apartment and accepted the fact that a mistake was made on your part by your PA Julia Forsyth. Stop trying to use your position in the media industry to make other companies look bad and to claim monies that you are not entitled to.
