Nob Hill Cleaners Damaged my dry cleaning and refuses to accept responsibility and pay for damages ripoff San Ramon California
Beware Consumers: I am a professional businessman who works for an investment bank in the financial district of San Francisco. I moved from Lafayette to Danville a few months ago and needed a dry cleaners. A friend told me there was a very good and reasonably priced cleaners in the San Ramon Shopping Center next to Eric's Deli. By my mistake I went to the Nob Hill Cleaners next to Long's Drugs. I took a large amount of clothes to be laundered and dry cleaned. When I picked up the clothes, 4 of my dress shirts had pinkish red spots (that were not there before) on the left cuff, left arm, and left collar (interesting how they were all in the same place). I pointed out the spots and the clerk told me that they looked like punch, suggesting that I had spilled something on my clothes. i pointed out how the spots were all in the same place on each shirt and asked to have them repaired or replaced. They attempted to take the spots out and failed miserably. In fact, in trying to fix the stains, they damaged the shirt fabric. I then asked to speak to the owner and the clerk said he was not in, but if I left a message and number he would call me. 1 week passed without a call. I called them again, identified myself, and asked to speak to the owner. Again, he was not in , but the woman assured me that he would call me this time. Another week passed without a call. I called a third time and he was not there. Same story, he will call you within a day. No call. I called the next day and asked for the owner. The woman who answerd hesitated when I asked if he was there... I said, "It's a yes or no answer. He's there or he isn't. Please put him on the phone." A man came to the phone. I gave him my name and politely asked him his name. He rudely said, "I am the owner, my name doesn't matter." I explained my situation to him (as if he didn't already know). He denied responsibility for the damage and told me they would not replace my four shirts. He said they clean many shirts every day and there is no way they did this damage. He then told me to stop calling and bothering them. I think what probably happenned was that the press they use for the shirts had something on it and when they pressed my shirts it stained them. Regardless, they should accept responsibility for the damage. If anyone else had this problem or any other problem with Nob Hill Cleaners, please email me.
The owner of Nob Hill Cleaners runs a bad business. He is poor businessman and a coward, has terrible customer service, and apparently has no insurance as he is unable to compensate his customers for the mistakes he makes. ON A LIGHTER NOTE, I HOPE HIS BUSINESS ENJOYS AN UNPROFITABLE 2004 AND IS FORCED TO CLOSE.

He is poor businessman and a coward, has terrible customer service, and apparently has no insurance as he is unable to compensate his customers for the mistakes he makes. ON A LIGHTER NOTE, I HOPE HIS BUSINESS ENJOYS AN UNPROFITABLE 2004 AND IS FORCED TO CLOSE.
