In response to your dad's delima, I would say don't pay. We are in the same boat in southern Colorado. We have been advised by a lawyer not to pay the lease company until more research is done. If you pay, you are agreeing to the terms. You are one on thousands of companies that have been scammed. It would be worth it to consult a lawyer. Our "pay off" of the lease agreement is well over $100K. We figured it would be worth a couple of thousand to get legal advice, you might consider doing the same. Also, write or get in contact with the Colorado Atty. Gen. Good Luck!
