I ordered a halloween costume for my 4 year old daughter on 10/14/08. It stated on the website that the costume was in stock and would ship within 48 hours. After 48hours and no costume on it's way I emailed Mark Rones the owner of the company to check on my order. I never heard back. I called the costumer service number which said "Our costumer service is closed until 2:00 today please leave us an email and we will get back to you within 3 hours." I left email after email and nothing. I called everyday and the same message was playing on the machine. A week later I finally filed a report with the BBB and the FTC. Finally I received an email from nothingbutcostumes saying that they had to look all over for the costume but finally got and they were sending it out. Two days before halloween we got a package in the mail. We opened it up and they did send a costume, just not the one we ordered. They sent us a toddler size 3 which isn't even an offered size on their website. I sent out another email immediatly stating that I would like a full refund. They told me that I needed to send the costume back and they would refund our money. I sent the costume back (having to pay even more money for shipping) and was notified by USPS that they received the costume 10/31/08. Today is 11/7/08 and here I am with no refund and no costume. I have never dealt with such poor costumer service skills in my life.

I had to dispute the charge on my credit card to get my refund!

After trying so hard to get a refund out of these people I finally ended up having to contact my credit card compnay. After explaining all that had happened, and sending in copies of receipts and an email that I received promising me a refund the CREDIT CARD company ended up siding with me. So I did get my refund, just not from nothingbutcostumes.

Well I still have no refund from nothingbutcostumes. They are terrible. We finally had to call the credit card company and dispute the charge.
