You had a written agreement that stated the terms of the transaction.
Such as how long you had to purchase the trailer. As well as under what conditions, if any, could you get your deposit back.

What is it with some of you people? Again, has the educational system failed you so tremendously or is it air polution?
You send your money off to somebody you don't know to buy a piece of equipment you don't even know exists! Please tell me the business sense behind this move...I'm all ears!
Did it ever occur you are setting yourself up for a scam when you do this ridiculously insane type of transaction? You sent this guy $750? What a deal.
Why not try to do business locally where you can actually see the equipment, check it out and check out the seller? What a revoluntionary idea that is!
