Oakdale Lending Group And Account Executive Robert Mansfield TRIED TO SCAM ME BUT DIDN'T GET AWAY WITH IT!! Charlottesville North Carolina
I applied for a loan online and received a phone call from Account Executive Robert Mansfield from Oakdale Lending Group stating that I was approved for a $5,000 loan. I had received an email from First Federal Financial Services as well, and immediately I knew they were a ripoff and I didn't bother to deal with them. However, I was going to give Rob Mansfield a chance since he called me. I received a faxed contract from him stating that I will need to send $938.08 to a Tonya Dickinson via MoneyGram in Richmond British Columbia Canada. The contract stated to actually send $930 and they will waive $8.08 for the fees for the MoneyGram.
After calling him several times, (and believe me he was very nice) and asking several questions which he answered I was still a little weary of this. Thank God my husband works for an Attorney and we have friends that work for Attorneys that were able to check out this company and their practices.
Well come to find out that this company does not even exist as far and the State of Virginia is concerned, furthermore, an Attorney friend of mine called to get their tax id number and he was promised a fax with the tax id number and never received it.
On top of everything, I even read this site and found out alot more information such as the website was just added as well as the fact that in the past 2 weeks this company has been getting alot of activity on this site. They have just started trying to rip people off obviously, but for those of us consumers that may have bad credit but are a bit more smarter than they are feel that this needs to be brought to light immediately.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM!!! THEY ARE NOT LISTED WITH THE BBB OR THE VA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE!! IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME CHECK IT OUT!! DON'T EVEN BELIEVE IT IF THEY SAY THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE LISTED OR THEY AREN'T LISTED BECAUSE THERE IS A FEE!! THAT IS BULL CRAP!!! DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!
