This goes beyond annoying to almost a criminal level- In fact it is- I recently found charges on my phone bill for services in which i never used- I called verizon and they could not do a thing about these unwanted charges and told me to call the Company directly- Trying to find a Contact number was hard- Close to 3 hours to research this Company- I opened something like Pandora's box-
I took an online survey for a free item and did not click a "NO" box which automatically signed me up with their program (USA voicemail- OAN Inc.) without my Consent or Knowledge- I know I clicked NO! When I contacted the company after hours of trying to reslove this, a woman named Reisa, said to me, the company she worked for, does use fraudulant measures to obtain money, but she can not make any decisions regarding this- She also said that the company she works for has had received numerous complaints- She gave me many examples of these complaints, including one which related to me- A man taking a survey for a free dinner- The website of these survey's do say there is "No obligation" to take this survey
When I asked her why she would work for such a company she stated that " I have to pay the rent....", then said she would remove these unwanted charges from my phone bill & quickly disconnected our call- I got shivers down my spine-
She also would not provide her employee # or extension for future reference- I also did some research on this company while I was on hold for 3 hours and found numerous websites bashing OAN / USA voicemail for bilking many a consumer for roughly around 15.00 dollars each- If i did not look at the back of my phone bill I would of never known and paid this company for services in which I did not know I had-
People make blind assumptions every day, simple mistakes by not reading the bill they think they know so well- Thinking they know what is on their bill, simple as a phone bill, and just rip off the Payment section- Putting the rest of the bill away, being unaware that they had just paid a third party- I know that there are people out there, hundreds of people, who did not know this was on their bill and this should be made aware- Maybe even Thousands- Millions who want free items only to somehow be duped-

**If you do not click NO, you will charged for their services- http://www.buddytracker.us/
This is also one of many Sites that hold these survey's
Now that verizon allows third party billing too, i.e AOL, this company is sliding through the cracks, taking advantage of Verizion-

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
