My wife lost her job so we got really behind on our mortgage. We contacted Ocwen Federal Bank about our account to setup payment arrangements, we were about three months behind.

Every time we contacted Ocwen Federal Bank they were rude to us and did not care about anything we were asking them. They seemed to like interrupting people while they were talking. At first they said there wasn't anything they could do to help us. We also could not get any information from them on our loan. We needed to make our payment or the loan would go into foreclosure.

We were receiving letters from a lawyers office telling us that we were behind on our mortgage and being charged $95 every time one of their letters were sent out to us, on top of our mortgage. The letters also had someone else's name on the loan with my name, which I am the only borrower on the loan and the loan was not assumed.

We contacted Ocwen, they said that he was the only one on the loan and couldn't explain why the letters were addressed that way. We couldn't get any information from anybody at Ocwen. Just allot of run around. Also, we were told to disregard any future letters since we had already made payment arrangements and to ignore any future letters received from their lawyers office.

The letters kept coming every month charging us more each month. Also, letters started coming for us to update our account, which I contacted Ocwen right when we started receiving these letters and was informed to disregard the update letters. That everything was fine with our account, but letters kept coming.

There were miscellaneous charges that they could not justify when I requested loan information. Our loan went into foreclosure. For months we tried to contact them and kept getting redirected to their lawyers office answering machine.

Which resulted in numerous of calls and left messages. Inquiring about payoff information and current amount due. I left a number where one of us could be reached, which they did not use as their call back number.

My wife and I are getting screwed around by this company. Its our unfortunate luck that we have to deal with the worst company that ever called themselves a company.

As mentioned in my prior report our house went into forclosure. We received a letter about our forclosure from one of Ocwen's lawyers office, forclosure department Kivell, Rayment,Francis dated May 2, 2003 in Tulsa, Ok. With payoff information that expired the same day of the letter. Prior to this letter My wife and I found a company to refiance our loan. We have been trying to get payoff information for months but only got answering machines. We forwarded all information to the refiance company. Refiance company left Numerious of messages for the forclosure department requesting payoff information for a week. The department never would return any of their calls. May 20, 2003 we received a letter from Moss, Codilis, Morris, Schneider & LLP information regarding alternatives to forclosure and request for fiancial information form. On May 29, 2003 at 8:00 am my wife called them and requested payoff. The consultant Anthony said the only payoff information he had was dated April 30, 2003. My wife informed him of the letter received with payoff information from Kivell, Rayment, Francis and it was dated May 2,2003 and expired that day. He had no record of this payoff. Anthony was going to requested this information from Ocwen but asked her what date did we need the payoff through, she didn't know for sure of the date. He told my wife if we didn't have an exact date and he requested payoff it would only be good the day of her call and we would have to start all over again later. Causing more charges to our payoff so we needed an exact date. He asked my wife for the company name and number along with the person to contact so he could contact her for the date requested for payoff amount in return he would request the information from Ocwen. My wife left a message with Deanna's office with this information. Later that day Deanna called and said she never heard from anybody at this lawyers office. With our refiance company on the phone line with my wife. They contacted the office again to request information for payoff since she got no responce from the department the first time. My wife spoke to Anthony again to remind him of their conversation they had earlier. Conversation consisted of him making a phone call to Deanna. He was given the name and number of the company and person to contact for information to get this issue resolved. My wife asked if she needed to call also, he said he would handle the call. He said that he didn't say he would contact Deanna for the correct date needed for payoff," basicially called my wife a lyer!" My wife authorized him to talk freely about our account to Deanna. She informed the loan Resolution Consultant Anthony about the messages left with Codilis, Morris, Schneider & LLP in Tulsa, Ok requesting payoff for months. Anthony informed us that they get paid to forclosure, they don't return phone calls but their office was alternatives to forclosure department located in Ocwen Federal's building in Orlando, FL. We requested payoff information from this office to be good through June 6, 2003. Requested payoff by 12:00 pm May 30, 2003 so Deanna's company could close the same day and have time to fund the money by the date requested. Anthony put a rush on the information and said we would have it by then, told us to call back at 11:30 the following day. The following day he didn't have the payoff, informed my wife to check back later, that they they were working on it and they would have it that day and he would be there until 8:00 pm. Still no answer at 4:00 asked what we can do were closing at 5:00 pm. He said nothing we can do it can take up to 24 hrs and he ordered it at 5:30 the day before. It was a blessing to find a company to help us get out of a mess that we couldn't control due to my wife loosing her job. It really sucks that we have to go through this bullshit just to get information from our mortage company. The run around between lawyers offices, you know the saying too many chiefs and not enough indians. Different lawyers fees charged for services from different departments. Mislead by loan consultants and different letters sent for different addresses informing us to contact them causing confusing for everyone, even the other fiance company did'nt understand their concept of business. We all need to put a stop to this rip off company OCWEN FEDERAL BANK! Causing families to be put on the streets because they won't coroperate with the public. Also can't resolve any questions with an answers causing consumer hell!
