Hi Michael, I live in far northern Illinois. I tried everything from contacting HUD's regional office in Chicago to to contacting the the Office of the Attorney General. All told me to contact the OTC, which is a joke and waste of time. I have never received a response to over 10 letters. I am now in contact with an investigative reporter for a Chicago TV station. He seems very interested in what is going on. Try contacting the media down there. I was told that there are probably many victims out there that are unaware they are not alone with this nightmare to end all nightmares. I have been a member of the class action lawsuit and have been following it since it's inception. Do as Marlene has stated and read about the class action suit. It's never to late to join!

My heart goes out to you. We all know what you are struggiling against and fighting for. As a former resident of your county I personally know that you do not have the resources readily available. There is another person who has made a post on this site from W Frankfort. My suggestion to her was to go to the Human Resources building on Main street and get yourself some medication and a good person to talk to. It is practically free and they are very good caring people there. ( next to hungrys) if ya catch my drift. You are in the same nightmare as many of us are and trying to keep ones sanity while going through this is very important. Ocwen will have their day when the will FALL! When you speak with employees at Ocwen ask their names write it down keep a paper trail. mention their names to others you speak with. Keep a logbook of who what when. Continue to read this site on a daily basis for more information. We have all been fully informed by honest people on this site and by this site alone it has helped me out immensely! There is nowhere else to turn to for guidance when it comes to this Ocwen Company! Good Luck with you and keep your chin up!

Michael: "I was told"...that's a common ocurrence. They "tell" us all, LIES. Do not place your life on OCWEN LIES! DEMAND EVERY TELL IN WRITING. ASK FOR EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Those phrases about initiating an "investigation", or "re-analyzing escrow funding" etc. are famous well known lies to keep you entartained while they set the scene to steal your home, your health, and the peace of your family life. They miscalculate Escrow funding ON PURPOSE, and if they paid to 2 different counties, it was ON PUPOSE. All os us can make mistakes; but if all we make are mistakes....These are not mistakes...but BAD DEES. Still call them to let them know you don't trust them. Don't hide and speak up. They are corporate thieves and you are are an HONEST, DECENT man. If they don't hide, why should you? Period. Send them RESPA letters with copies to HUD, OTS, FTC and FBI (this last one is very important), and to the Attorney General of your state. Send a letter of complaint to the AG explaining your situation (with copies to the others-Ocwen buys souls within our government). Use Certified Mail for your correspondence. File a complaint against them in the FTC, HUD and GA websites. Send Certified Mail copies of those to the rest of the gang. Document, document, document... Keep pristine files every where. Most important, send your Affidavit to Kweku Hanson, our lawyer in charge of our class action against Ocwen Federal Bank, the Thief. He will not ask you any money. Educate yourself about Kweku Hanson and his present need of our support related to the MDL panel, all explained in this ROR site. Here, you'll find addressess and vital education to deal with Ocwen. Read all you can in this site so you learn from the rest of your family (us) how to better defend yourself from that Ocwen Demon. I am single mother, old, Latin, cash poor and equity rich. They are constantly after me. I decided that I'll fight until my end or theirs. I am not an easy to deal with victim. WE CAN NOT AFFORD THE LUXURY OF BEING EASY TO DEAL WITH VICTIMS! Chin up and act.The road is difficult but you are not alone. Good Luck! A proud Ocwen Hater in Miami.
