OCWEN FEDERAL BANK FSB OUTRAGEOUS UNEXPLAINABLE AND FRAUDULENT FEES outlandish late fees rip-off ORLANDO Florida
After four years of dealing with Ocwen,it has come to our attention what a heartless company they are. June 25,2002 we mailed in a payment for the house and by the middle of July we were contacted and told the payment was never recieved.They were rude and wanted an immediate payment western union.
We were told that it takes 14-21 bus. days to process payment and thought it would come through.The payment wes never recieved (according to Ocwen)therefore leaving us with next day mail charges and 183.00 late fees.By the time that was sent it was then time for the next payment,so we sent that.
Only to find out that the payment we next day mailed was returned from Ocwen,insufficient funds.By august 2002,the 3rd payment was then due,so they were asking for 1578.00(3 mths payments)and 286.00 late fees.After looking for our records we found that every payment from the 1st month on the loan until june of 2002 had been paid.So now on 9/29/02 we have mailed them a check for $3864.00 to get our home out of foreclusure.
There fees and attorneys charges have ran us broke and it is all because of bad record keeping and so-called misplaced payment.Not only that there were several payments that were held for a number of days after recieving.I guess that is there way of gaining $$ for late charges.
