Complaint Review: Ocwen Federal Bank Litton Loan - Orlando Florida

Ok, here we go. I am writing this on behalf of my parents. We had Ocwen from '98-02. They completely sucked us dry, and have taken everything we have. We had some two bank accounts. Both of which are empty now. Our bank called us one day and told us they were freezing our bank account because Ocwen was looking at it. Is that even possible? We never had our payments withdrawal from our bank, so how did they find out our banking info?

Ocwen kept us in "forebearance plans" continuously for the 4 years we had them. It all started with our taxes going up, so of course our monthly payment went up. Then our taxes weren't getting paid. We did have an escrow account, but honestly, who knows if we even have house insurance. Were they really paying themsleves for our house insurance? But as they say, we have the most expensive insurance. Therefore, our escrow account is NEGATIVE $7,000. But at one point, our escrow held a positive $10,000. We never got anything from Ocwen, asking what to do with the surplus. It's either applied to our loan, or we can receive a check, but before we could ask, the escrow money started disappearing.

Ocwen also recieved their payments from us via Western Union. Yet, wouldn't apply the payments until about 2 weeks later. Then we would get hit with late charges. Isn't that fraud right there? So during these 2 weeks, Ocwen would tell us they never received payment, and would call and harass my mom. She would insist on the payment being made days ago with the Western Union MTC number in hand. But of course, they didn't care, nor did they want to believe it, I guess. Finally, she would call back and talk to someone else, only to find out that our payment was in "suspense". So what exactly is "suspense"? Well, if anyone knows, tell me because Ocwen could never explain it. It doesn't make sense to me.

Our loan was initially for $91,000, back in 1998. As of right now, we still owe $89,000. But have paid Ocwen alone, at least $80,000. Why? You know, with any other normal company, We would actually OWN our house by now.

Then July '02, we got sold to Litton. Another company working in this cirlce of (fraud) death. In Aug '02, Litton wanted $6,000 up front and then $3,500 for the next 6 months. The $3,500 was ALL of our monthly income. But somehow we did it. Our other bills didn't get paid. And if you count 6 months from Aug, that includes Christmas. My parents couldn't even give us a Christmas. Do these people know or even care what they are doing to us? So in Feb '03, our "repayment plan" with Litton was done. Great right?

Of course not, Litton could never tell us what our new monthly payment was. Not until 3 months later, that's when we got a foreclosure notice. And now they want $2,500 for the next 12 months.

I found this site and my mom and I were reading the reports and she actually threw up. But she felt some sort of peace, knowing this isn't just her. For the past 5 years, she has questioned herself over and over, on how she got herself in this mess. We have never made a normal monthly payment of $883. It's always been $1,500 and up.

But I feel like this is the end. Between Ocwen and Litton, they have taken all our money away. I just withdrawaled myself from college, which is killing me, because we can't afford it. We don't have any money anymore. NONE! I just got 2 credit cards with a limit of $1,600. Yeah, that's how we eat. But they are almost maxed, so what after that?

These people need to be stopped! For the employees, you guys are just as bad. How could so much nonsense go on? I read a report on here from an employee saying that they don't know who is smearing feces in the bathroom. That is just disgusting, yet whoever is doing that, is dealing with MY FAMILY'S HOUSE! I hope we come out fighting, but I don't know how much longer my family can hang in there. They will do and have done anything and everything to keep this roof over our head. But we can only produce so much money to these fraudulent companies.
