My original loan was through Cenlar, well it was transferred five times so I can not even remember the original owner of the loan (Taylor, Bean, and Whitaker, I believe). Anyway I defaulted on the mortgage loan and placed the home for sale. I got several offers; I had a primary and secondary buyer who were willing to wait through the short sale process. I turned in my short sale packet mid-October 2011 to Ocwen and checked on things in November and was told the packet was received and being reviewed.

I received a letter (early Dec 2011) to set up a time to talk to my short sale representative named Arpit who would discuss my options. I made the appointment for the last week of December and spoke with the representative. He tells me that the packet was incomplete and emails me a new packet.  I faxed all of the forms the next day. My real estate agent called and confirmed that they received the forms and she made an appointment with Arpit for Jan. 18th, 2012 to go over my account. So on Jan 18th, my agent receives news from Arpit that they did not receive the forms and to resend the forms. I send in the forms again via fax and email.(My agent checks in with them every week during this time and she is told that they have received the forms and reviewing them.)

Early Feb 2012, my agent called again and was told the packet I sent in was incomplete and was not told which forms were missing and that I needed to resend the packet. I gathered all of the forms again and made sure I was thorough (which I know I was in the past as well) and emailed the forms in and my agent faxed them in as well.

My real estate agent speaks to Arpit again early March 2012 and was told that I sent in the old short sale packet and they will mail me a copy of the new forms. I refused to believe that because Arpit just sent me a copy of the packet the last week of December. How can the forms change in two months? So I was waiting on the new packet to be sent but it didn't come in the mail. I requested that they send via email like they did before but never received a new packet.

Then my agent tells me (after speaking to Arpit again) that I needed to get the forms sent in no later than March 16th because the home was going to be auctioned on April 5th. I still didn't receive a new packet so I sent in the older version of the short sale forms hoping they would accept them. Long story short...home foreclosed and I received the packet in the mail on April 12th, as if to say F' you and we never had any intentions on working with you on your short sale.

I believe I was treated unfairly, was misinformed, and that Ocwen deliberately gave my agent and myself the run around. This has to stop!
