I too as many have fought Ocwen for years. I too document EVERYTHING, as one has to with this company. I have even fought the way they report to the credit bureau through the credit bureau and have won.
Just yesterday I did not send a check that they can mis apply or even do a Money Gram that they can mess up, I did a wire transfer from the bank which goes to the FED'S first then applies to my loan. The Fed's have a copy, so Ocwen legally cannot deny payment. The wire by law has to be posted within 24 hrs.
I have been pre approved with ANOTHER company to refinance my balance and half and yes half of the current interest rate which will reduce my P&I by 300 a month.
Granted the nightmare is not over yet, but, I am well close to an awakening from all of this. Will see what type of scam Ocwen pulls after the closing when another company will be my lender and servicer. And this new company, does NOT sell their paper NOR do they outsource, they are 100% USA, all the way. Closing is scheduled here in the next 30 days.
I too have joined a class action suit which was stated many many yrs ago, never heard a thing since, probably won't. If another one were to come along, I would join it.
If any of you can ever wire monies to Ocwen, do so, that is your Federal Gov't receipt, not a stupid money gram or postal receipt. You need something stronger than those, in my opinion.
