Okidata Corporation ,OKI DATA REBATE RIPOFF'S Cherry Hill New Jersey
I recently purchased a very expensive Oki Data Printer which the company offered a 33% rebate on. I fullfilled all the requirements for the rebate and sent in all of the required documentation. My claim was denied because they said that I purchased the machine before the rebate began. The Rebate began on 11/1/2007. My invoice clearly states that I was billed for the purchase on 11/02/2007.
They also say I did not provide the original UPC which I did and I also have sent therm copies of all the information to back it up. I sent the original paper work through regeistered mail and they signed for it.
I buy over $80,000.00 worth of printing equipment a year and I always buy when rebates are offered. I know what I am doing and I know when I am dealing with a dishonest rebate company.
Although Okidata does not handle it's own rebates I hold them responsible for this rippoff because they do not provide any contact info about the underhanded company which they use to do their rippoffs.
We will not buy Oki products here again. I suggest Lexmark as an alternative. Lexmarks are made in the USA and backed by honest people.
