I met this man in Los Angeles and he needed a graphic designer to help him with some print graphics for his business. I had to leave LA before the job was done and when I wanted to get paid for my work there were a lot of excuses to why he couldn't pay me directly. I suspected something was strange about him so a few Google searches later revealed that I would never get paid.
First off, he is/was wanted for used car fraud in his home country of Germany. More than 20 criminal charges and 99 civil charges are pending against him for this. Here is an article about him from 2004 translated via Google Translate: https://goo.gl/VvLfXe

I'm suspecting this didn't go so well after not paying people he does business with. The main product is some kind of black garlic drink which he claims have infinite health benefits but he has nothing to back up his claims with. When I met him in LA he was about to start his business in the US selling more black garlic products, what he employed me for was to change all of the product labels to the companys new name (Onyx Black Garlic) and remove the "Made in Switzerland"-logos that he pasted everywhere. Probably because the product was never made in Switzerland but in South Korea. As soon as I realised he was trying to scam me I bought his intended domain name www.onyxblackgarlic.com before he could and redirected it to RipoffReport. He might use another business name now.
His products are clearly bulls*** as he claims ordinary black garlic is good for pretty much everything he can imagine (for health, for longetivity, for "pregnet", for fun, for love, for more money (?!) etc. Check out his flyer below.

While what has been said here about Oliver still holds true, I have spoken with the new owner of the company Onyx Black Garlic. The company under leadership of its new owner has nothing to do with Oliver Weidling and they have resolved the issue with me and I have been paid in full.
I would like to withdraw the name of the company from this website but am unable to do so.
So to clarify:
- Oliver Weidling is still a scam artist at large
- Onyx Black Garlic is no longer associated with Weidling and is clean
The scammer has established in the U.S.
