Hello Richard,
Thank you for your kind words and considerate thoughts. I can see your experience with OOA has turned you into a true professional. I am a little concerned, however, since I've been waiting since 2004 for my slander lawsuit summons to arrive.
I'm sure your passionate rebuttal will have many potential customers lining up to spend nearly $4,000 dollars on this company especially in this booming economy?
I wish you the best with your OOA training and will let others decide according to their own pocketbooks.
As for now, this idiot stands by his original remarks and will continue waiting another 7 years for you to spend your millions defending Online Academy Auction on my slander lawsuit.
Waiting Patiently,
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
How is your Ebay business going? Since your comments indicate you are a true "professional" with online marketing and did not learn a thing from the OAA experience, I would assume you are making a comfortable living by now.
I would like to say, as an ex-employee, that most of the rhetoric you have posted here is mere slander and that the product being sold and marketed by the OAA was a decent product if you put your mind to working the program. Yes, YOU have to work the program. Why would you expect a return of $30,000 on a $4,000 investment in 6 months without having to work at it?
Personally, I believe if you had spent as much time working the OAA program and trying to create a legitimate business with all the tools that were given in the package combined with the personal attention offered with the program (instead of the time invested trying to slander and humiliate this company), you would be on your way to being a wealthy online entrepreneur.
By the way, I was a customer of the OAA before working with them in 2002. I already had a successful online business since early 2000 but invested in the OAA program to take advantage of their referral program. Each person that was referred to them by me and signed up with the program, I received $795. I sold over 12 programs in the first two weeks through MY OWN marketing. If you are such an expert, why did you not make your money back 3-4 fold with this added perk in the program? I know, because you are not really an ONLINE MARKETING GENIUS. Imagine that....LOL
Daniel, I believe you are a true idiot and should be sued for all the slander you have pronounced against the Online Auction Academy of the years. In the future, I would recommend treading lightly on crusades such as this. In some cases, you might not know exactly WHO you are dealing with which could get YOU in BIG trouble in more ways than one.
A little advice from someone who was directly involved with the OAA.
Richard

I am so angry I can hardly type. I did not realize the magnitude of OAA's corruption. We have not heard from them for a month. Ben Mah and everyone else was useless to us. Yes and their web building was a joke. We joined in September hoping to take advantage of the holiday season. Well, now we don't have one, because we had $4000 ripped off from us. We have contacted our credit card company. Any other advice would be appreciated. Thank you. John Kusmit

I too am a victim of OAA but when I joined back in June I did not find any of this information. Now, here I am in Dec. and finding that for the past 6 months I have done ALL the work. Even when it came time to have my website developed it was the most amateur thing I have ever seen and can't stand it. I am going to my credit card company and hope something can be done.

Hello Christine, I was nearly 4 months from my transaction date when I received my refund. I understand that each credit card company is different and the chances of receiving a refund are against you at this point especially with Online Auction Academy on the run. However, DO NOT ACCEPT THE RESPONSE OF YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. I did not even mention the 100% Money Back Guarantee.I said that OAA has not provided the service and I was doing all the work. Your credit card company is suppose to protect you. There is no lose on a reversal of charges from a credit card company. Demand they reversal the charges, are you will consider a different credit card company. DO NOT ACCEPT "NO". Keep complaining and callng your credit card company, ask for managers or security risk department. Be a pain in the a*s. Please read all the posting to this report. Many other had success with different directions and offer contact names. I know ripoffreport is limited to the personal information they can be release. Perhaps this will or will not be posted. My ebay seller name is dvddelirium. You can contact through Ebay. I will rely the name of the former OAA employee and try to find his email address. He has given his approval for email contact. He may be able to give you constuctive views on OAA. Remember I had tried several things before getting a refund. I was going to write off $4,000 and the last thing I tried worked. Good Luck and My Best Wishes!

I posted yesterday on this company and just read the recent post here. I was turned down by my credit card company yesterday on a refund because they can only do it up to 60 days afterwards. So...what next? I see they've moved possibly which would explain why I get NO answers to repeated phone calls. Can anyone advise me what I might be able to do to sock it to these guys for what they've done to me? Thanks.

You may have notice my previous postings. I was sucessful in receiving a refund by my credit card company which was never disputed by Online Auction Academy. I did receive an email at the beginning of October from a former employee of OAA. In a future Q & A session. CD stated," Online Auction Academy had lost many of it's good employees due to company policies and mismanagement". CD was willing to assist others with this company's inside information and support former member trying to find a refund. This company does seem to be on it last leg. But be very careful, these ripoff artists can reform under a different name. PLEASE INVESTIAGE ALL COMPANIES LIKE ONLINE AUCTION ACADEMY BEFORE JOINING. Image the coutless number of people who did not receive a refund or just walk away. Shame on OAA and other companies like it. MAY YOU REST IN HELL!

Mark Israel is dead but the original scam artist of this operation, Craig Meyer, has picked up and left hundreds of people holding the bag. They have set up business in California now and their new phone number is (831)336-9885.

I realized that after my 2nd week in the Protege program I had been taken advantage of and requested a credit immediatly. After several email refusuals and lack of cooperation from OAA. I decided to file a report with the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Reports of Nevada. I also made a claim with my credit card company and within 10 days the full amount including interest was credit back to my visa account by my CR company. For those of you that were also taken in by all the hype, don't let OAA get away with taking your hard earned money. Go straight to your credit card company and get your money back. You can win too!

Hello Again Brenda, I do agree that Online Auction Academy is based on false advertising with the upfront Money Back Guarantee. They sell their services and enrollment package knowing there is no intention of returning anyone's $3,997.00 once they become a member. The contracts and small print on website are written in a way to protect this company's own corrupt interests. However, this is clearly a case of BREACH OF CONTRACT. You have paid this company almost $4,000.00 to provide you a service. By law, they must be able to prove any material or granted customer service has AMOUNT TO or IS WORTH THE VALUE OF the cash provided. The enrollment package software only tracks what other Ebay sellers are doing. This information is available through Ebay's advance key search. I boxed-up this material and returned it to OAA. The company didn't even bother to open the box and refuse to sign the delivery confirmation. The prerecorded classes are just that! Employees of this company talking about their Ebay auctions. This material is used over and over again. Unless you have never used Ebay in your life, these classes are very useless and do not constitute anyone's personal time except yours. The customer service phone calls are also a joke. A representative will allocate a certain amount of time for your questions each week. The client must place the phone call while the auction coach rushes to get to the next phone caller. Not once did an auction coach contact me. This is hardly a way to establish an online business! After all this, you will realize the customer has to do all the work, while the company collects your money based on resold software, prerecorded classes and free information based on Google and Ebay searches. I am very interested in hearing from any former employees of Online Auction Academy or if anyone has successfully taken this company to court. Your input is valid in preventing this company from taking more money on bogus claims. There are over 40 compliants and counting listed on the BBB website. OAA has collected 40 x $3,997.00 in revenue on unsatisifed customers. THEY MUST BE STOPPED AT ALL COST!

Daniel, Thank you so much for your time in responding to my post. I have printed it out to send with my complaints. I fully intend to fight. I am also filing with my CC company, the BBB, the Attorney General's office, and will also call the Sherriff in Nevada. I was lied to about the program and the guarantee, which I didn't sign. When I notified OAA I wanted my money back, the main concern they seemed to have was that I sign and fax the guarantee. I have no intention of doing that as it is in complete contradiction to the 30 day guarantee I was verbally given when I ordered the course. Also, I was relying on what the OAA was supposed to do, which I find out after they have my money, they don't do. I consider this to be false advertising and fraud. Thank you again, Brenda McCoy

Hello Brenda and Others, Here is an update to my original report. I filed a report with the BBB. Online Academy disputed my claims stating, "I had been a member too long and was not entitled to a refund'. While I did not get satisifaction for this action, My complaint is on record with over 40 such other compliants on this company. I also contacted the Attorney General Office in Nevada. Once again, I did not receive satisifactory results. However, take the time to write this letter. Online Auction Academy owner MARK ISRAEL was very disturb by his name appearing on a letter of compliant. Also mention the name of employees and contacts within this company. This will put more pressure on OAA and gives you a actually document of complaint. I next contacted the RENO JUSTICE COURT CIVIL DIVISION, P.O BOX 30083, RENO NEVADA 89520-3083. (775)325-6501 and requested a filing for small claim. You may also want to contact the Washoe County Sheriff office in NEVADA (775)328-3310 to see if there is any suggestion(s) they can make. Finallly, I contacted my credit card company. Requested the disputes division. I faxed all the information I had collected and requested an declaration of my compliant againest this company with the intention to file a suit in court. THIS ACTION WORKED. The credit card company reverse the charges and OAA never disputed the reversal. HERE IS MY ADVICE: Complain to anyone who will listen. Most agencies will contact Online Auction Academy with your charges. Always mention everyones name who is involved with your dispute especially MARK ISRAEL. This will put even more pressure on OAA and document your dissatifaction with this company even futher. Contact your credit card company and dispute the charge made to your account. Also request a written document of your complaint for the courts. If all else fails, don't be afraid to file in small claims court. You probably won't have to go this far. Online Auction Academy expects most people to become discouraged and walk away! This is how they make their money. BE PERSISTANT! If they realize you are going to be a pain in their asses, they will eventually back down. This company is based on prerecorded classes and free information available through any Google search. The software they provide you with isn't worth 4.00 let alone 4,000.00. They know this! Don't be fooled, GET YOUR MONEY BACK! If you have to take this issue to court, DO SO! Ask for the most money you can get by law. Your time and effort is worth more than $4,000.00 and this will put one more nail in the coffin of Online Auction Academy. I give www.ripoffreport.com my permission to give out my name, number, and any other information needed to help shut down this company.

Hello, I saw your post on and wanted to ask you a favor. I signed up for Online Auction Academy, spent $3997.00 and found out within 2 weeks that what was advertised and promised was not going to happen. I notified them that I wanted to cancell and since I was within my 30 day money back guarantee period I expected no problems........Well now they just offer excuses. I plan to file complaints with the BBB and the attorney general and wonder if you could provide a statement of your experience with Online Auction Academy, so that I may include your statement with mine to back up my complaint. Thank you so much for your time and will be awaiting your reply. [Place your comments below and be sure to include your FULL contact information so Rip-off Report can contact you.] Thank you, Brenda McCoy
