Owens Corning Finished Basement System Reason #2 Not To Use Owens Corning Basemment Systems Hartland Wisconsin
This is Reason #2 not to use this disreputable company. I have over 100 reasons, and will post at least one daily until they do the right thing and pay all of us for the money they illegally took from our commissions.
Reason # 2- They charge $156 per lineal foot for their Exterior wall system. This does not include the $29 per foot for the Stamped metal studs to hold it up. Do the math, $156 x 4 ft panel = $624. $29 per ft for studs, x 4 ft = $ 116. Added together, you get $740 for one 4x8 sheet of product. Most jobs have 15 or 20 sheets. Then they offer you 38% off if you will "Keep it a secret" from these prices. Still comes to $458.80 PER SHEET. 45 times drywall. Sound like a deal to you? See ya tommorrow.....

The cost per lineal foot in the Northeast is $214 for the wall system & $ 32 per foot for the metal studs. Also, they charge $193 per lineal foot for doors. That makes a 3 foot interior masonite door $579!!! you can buy the same door at Lowes or Home Depot for well under $100. former employee
