You really need to go back and read the posters comments The complaint isn't about the loan, but over an additional credit check. It's obvious that you think you're all that by you posts in other complaints reguarding Capital One. But really all your doing is making yourself look like a total fool. Mayby you should try to open you mind when you're reading these post. Are you sure you don't still work for Capital One? Because you're attitude sure sucks like their reps.

The blank check WAS A LOAN. That's how it works! What'd you think they were doing? Just giving you free money? It helps to read before signing on stuff.

The dealer did what you asked and informed equifax to remove the inquiry. Since your and your wife's credit files are separate have her call and request they remove her inquiry. Even though you are married and it was a joint application you cannot request that your wife's credit file be modified. So relax take a deep breath and have your wife call the dealer.

It sounds like to me that you need to calm down a little. the dealership corrected there action by sending a letter to the credit bureau. They then in turn sent a copy to you. It would only be a rip off if they didnt comply. . however it sounds like he ran it on yours not your wife's they did what they were supposed to do. If you guys have joint credit then it will be placed in hers as well i believe. I know it sucks that they did it any was, but at least they rectified it.

So they ran your credit? I guess I"m not seeing where you are out any money. You got your loan, and your car. They just did an extra credit check? What would you take them to small claims court over, where have they taken money from you?
