To solve this problem I transferred my ownership to someone and then it was gone. I will never buy another timeshare the rest of my life.

I've been a owner for 10 years, my dues alone are 5 times what non owners pay. Non owners can get a reservation when ever they want and I'm told they are always booked. I was promised the world when I bought, but nothing was true. I can't give my time share away either. I'm very frustrated

Don't feel like the "Lone Ranger"; you're not alone. I notice that you think that if you're upgraded you may get better service and opportunities to use your timeshare. Wrong! We purchased 156 points and we're having the same issues. We also had a similar issue with the timeshare usage we supposedly won. The timeshare that we were able to go to in Palm Springs was a "dump". That was the beginning of our realization that we were scammed into a bad situation that was very costly.
I would not be as disgusted if it were not for the fact that non-members can go to any particular timeshare website, make a reservation and get any date that they ask for. I've tried it. Their explanation is that all timeshares have a specified block of accommodations for members and a specified block of accommodations for non-members. It just so happens that non-member usage is lower than members. Yea, right!
I don't encourage anyone to purchase a timeshare. Save your money and go online, make a reservation to the timeshare you want to go to and be frustration free. I wish that enough of us could get together and file a class action law suit against these timeshare rip offs.

Although since posting this Rip Off report the management of Monarch Grand Vacations did book me at the Cancun Resort and asked me to retract the Rip Off Report I still think that it is not worth the money.
