My neighbor directly next door recently had his roof completely redone by Patriot Construction Group.
During this time we were very considerate and cooperative of this large construction project. We had no problem letting this contractor use our gate, front driveway, and side yard to set up ladders and scaffolding to complete the task next door. It may not sound like much of a hassle on our part but considering we had to park on the street, keep our dogs on a leash (in our fenced yard), and listen to loud machine on our property, I thought we were overly generous!
I completely understand that contractors of all trades have a very tight time schedule, especially during a tough economy. However, I was extremely upset to find that this company left a huge mess in our yard, garden, and flower beds.
I called the number on their website and the gentleman who answered said he would send out a crew to clean up the mess the very next morning. 2 days passed and no one showed up. I called the number again and the gentleman who answered the phone said he sent out a crew and they cleaned up the mess. This was not the case at all since I was looking at lumber with nails and old shingles scattered all over.
Since I wasn't going to let our dogs get hurt by stepping on rusty nails sticking out of their debris, I decided to clean up the mess myself. My neighbor and I spent 6 hours picking up their trash out of our flower beds, garden and yard.
To be fair, my neighbor did say that his new roof was installed well with NO leaks. However both agreed that they could had done a much better job cleaning up their mess. Also, I would not had made this complaint public had the gentleman on the phone been considerate and actually cleaned up the mess which he said he would do.
My assessment: If you want quality workmanship Patriot Construction has the knowledge and skills to complete the task correctly. However if you wish to keep a good relationship with your neighbors, make sure their property is cleaned of roofing debris before signing the final check.
Once Patriot Construction has their $$ you won't ever see them again!

People who have legitamite complaints leave their name and contact info. We can be reached at 312-371-5229 In the last 2 month there are 2 of these complaints with Rippoff Report on us. We will file a lawsuite against this posting person. This lowlife will then have to provide their contact information. We will then come after then for slander.
In reality, we have never done a job in St. Charles ever and so who is this loser writing this slander.
The only conclusion is that it is a jealous competewtor in our industry who is out of work. We are coming after you whith a lawsuite. You will also get a copy of our respons and can continue and or remove this post before it comes back to haunt you. We take this type of slimy slander seriously. We will attach the copy of the lawsuite for the public to view, which will be filed within a few days.
I am sure this person will not respond but we will deal with this to the fullest extent of the law.
Sadly, this is most likely someone we know in the industry who is out of work. Our reputation is being questioned and so we have only one logical move. To prove to the public that this is unsubstantiated slander we will file a lawsuite against Rippoff Report and proive that there is no real person behind the post. This is just unsubstantiated slander.

I filed a report on RipOffReport 18 hours ago against "Patriot Construction" I've received 12 threatening phone calls today from (312) 371-5229 I will be pressing charges if this activity continues.
In my original complaint, I explained that he does good work but left a large mess. Now it is my suggestion to not use "Patriot Construction Group" , "Patriot Construction" , "Robert Skertich"
He is nothing but a Scam , Scammer , Fraud
