THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH SO HE COULD GREATLY INFLATE THEIR PRICE. HE TOOK MY 25 MS-65 $20 ST GAUDENS AND AND GAVE ME 33 MS 62 $10 LIBERTY COINS. APPEARS WE LOST ABOUT $10,000 AND THAT REALLY HURTS FOR Kensington, Maryland
Contributed 9 St. Gaudens to non-profit group and the rep asked me to sell them for him. Not wanting to make it a taxable event decided to do an exchange. (Did not think about asking to make out check for non-profit group.) Anyway Von Detton started immediiately telling me what a bad choice the St Gaudens were and that the Liberties were the best choice. He convinced me to send all my Gaudens to him -25. (Talk about "old to soon and smart to late".) Can you help?
