PayPal Commits Fraudulent Activity PayPal removed funds from the wrong account and refuses to rectify their mistake. San Jose California
I purchased a Garmin 340C GPS through Ebay and paid with my PayPal account. I had my credit card as the primary funding source and they still decided to take it out of my Bank Checking Account when they had no permission to do so. I called customer service at PayPal and the woman who answered gave me an attitude and told me that eventhough they made the mistake of transferring funds from the wrong account, and fraudelently for that matter, they will not rectify the issue because it is not their concern.
I asked to speak to a manager and was subsequently put on hold for thirty minutes and then hung up on. I tried calling again and was put on hold by another customer service representative and then subsequently hung up on again. I called my Bank and filed a fraud claim against PayPal because now I have an overdraft of $375.73 plus overdraft fees. This company is irresponisble and their customer service representatives are atrocious.
