PCCharge - PC Charge By Verifone company requires 1 Year long term support contract to answer 1 question!?! ripoff Savannah Georgia
This company has ripped off thousands I'm sure. PC Charge software made by Verifone requires me to sign up for a 1 year long term support contract to simply change my merchant account on the software.
This is NOT a technical support issue. I referred to the FAQs which instructed me to complete a form indicating the merchant account I wanted to change. I was then contacted by a Sales Person to sign up for a 1 year minimum support contract!!
What a complete outrage. It's like Quickbooks telling you that you must have a techinical support contract if you want to change the name on one of your bank accounts. It's the most basic functionality that's easily provided by any other vendor.
My request for a simple 1-time incident charge has gone un-answered. Here's the response I received from the company.
"Yes we require a contract to perform a merchant change."
They are ripoff artists that MUST be held accountable. Easy class-action for any interesyed lawyer out there. Think of all the merchants that were forced to sign up for a 1 year support contract to change their own merchant account number?
